I watched episode 7 projected onto a TV so I wasn't paying attention to the time. When the episode ended, I couldn't believe it. It felt like 20 minutes!! Time actually flew, I was at the edge of my seat wanting them to meet the entire episode and then it just ended. SO UNFAIR lol
I have to go into work today. I wish I can work from home and watch Lovely Runner. The plan is to book a meeting room during lunch and not socialize with my coworkers just so I can watch episode 8!!! Wish me luck! AHH can't wait! Spoilers and all, I M DYING FOR IT.
I got one of my close friends to watch this. She loves it too. I am going over to her place after work on Monday just so we can order Korean fried chicken and watch Lovely Runner together. It's the small wins in life!✨
From the start to the finish, this was so great! The story was heartwarming and wholesome. Zhang Jing Yi carried the show. She was spectacular.
I watched every single episode without skipping which is a massive feat. I found myself waiting for midnight (est) everyday just to watch the new episode/s. If I happened to fall asleep, I'd watch it the first in the morning during my work commute. I was clearly invested.
I find myself staying up past midnight just to watch one episode or two (on days we are lucky!). I am still so engaged. This is so good! Episode 29 will drop soon and I am eagerly waiting?!! Definitely a rare occurrence.
Was episode 1 released today (April 8th) intentionally? 🌘
I was so shocked watching the first 2 minutes. I started believing in signs lol
I had a meeting a little while ago where I told my coworkers I am taking most of today off to watch the eclipse. I live very close to totality. I sent my close friends a "Happy Eclipse Day" snap about 10 mins ago.
Then I was like, 'yay this kdrama came out, let me watch couple mins while I drink some tea'. And lo and behold the first two mins is about an eclipse with a band named 'Eclipse"
I am pleasantly surprised by how good this is! It's actually really great. You know a drama is good when the time actually flies and you eagerly anticipate the next episode. I am invested in Hua Zhi's plot line. I love her character so much already. I can't wait to see the two main leads get significant screen time with each other. Definitely something to look forward to!!
Waking up to no new SOKP episodes is a sad reality.
10/10 drama. This is top-tier! One of my favourites now. I've been watching dramas for over 15 years now. I can't recall a time where I did not skip anything. With SOKP, I never pressed the skip button but instead re-watched parts by going back over and over again. I will miss this a lot.
*parts when XW goes "Ning'Er" *when XW invites Ning'Er to learn qin at his place *that beautiful rain scene with ZZ, Ning'Er & XW (the OST playing in the background is really pretty) *when XW puts medicine on Ning'Er after the cat scratch (also that moment when he is watching her while she is washing her hands *swoons*) *the moments between Ning'Er and the Princess (who I adore) *when Ning'Er comes with her hands all bandaged up and XW is so concerned about her; then she goes on a whole tangent about the Xue family and XW is so impressed and looks at her with *heart eyes*. *when XW bakes her walnut cakes *the moments between the two Jiang sisters, especially when the Xue Hui stands up for Ning'er *when Ning'er picks up on XW calling her "Ning'er" instead of "Miss Jiang"
This drama is living rent-free in my head. I don't remember the last time I was "this" into a drama.
I've been so happy to wake up in the mornings these days. Wake up at 5:30AM to get ready for work? No problem, let me get ready in record time so I can watch SOKP before I have to go catch my train. Waiting for the train? No problem, let me watch SOKP on my commute. Working from home today but accidentally wakes up early? No problem, I can watch SOKP before I start work 😂
This wait is killing me. I've been re-watching my favourite parts. And I've been parked in this comment section reading all the spoiler tags. Anyway I made an account just to comment about my struggles.
ps -- Tomorrow is my birthday & the new episodes drop at 6AM EST. I am very excited to start my birthday morning with SOKP ❤️

I just got home after watching it. It was really surreal 🥺 I hope you get to witness a total solar eclipse in your lifetime!

I had to stop and go 'wow okay'.
