The show is a fun watch for sure, but I don't really understand the craze and the high ratings? The show feels a bit underwhelming imo. The actors are delivering and the chemistry and visuals are there, but the script feels lacking and a bit bland. The plot is progressing fairly well, so I am still engaged somewhat, but nothing is really grabbing me yet as it's missing that “umph” factor I feel like.
I found 1st ep kind of boring according to my taste, us second ep worth watching?
I enjoyed the second episode, the story and interactions between the characters were fun to watch. It's slowly growing on me. Give it a try, it wouldn't hurt.
Even though I'm not completely hooked yet, the storyline has been pretty solid so far, so I'm interested to see what happens next honestly. The chemistry between Myung Hee and Hee Tae tho is lovely omg their interactions are adorable <3
I personally was disappointed at how Jang Han-seok as the villan evolved over time. I feel at the start, he was…
Felt the same way as well! I was really expecting some clever planning or move on Jang Han-seok's part, but he started to become more plain and generic as a villain, and he didn’t pose as much of a threat to the main leads anymore. Also, it would have been nice to see more of his backstory or childhood, as I feel like it would have added more to his character. What a great actor and what potential his character had, but it fell flat towards the end.
The ending felt a bit flat and rushed tbh. I feel like this show's peak was in the middle and then it started to decline a bit afterwards because of the weird pacing. The show could have definitely cut down on some filler scences and fleshed out some of the scenes better instead of dumping everything in the end and rushing it. I liked the ideas and plotline the show was going for, but it felt poorly executed towards the end.
As of the romance, the ending gave me CLOY vibes and I kinda feel iffy about it. The romance was quite slowburn and not the main focus, which I don't mind really, but for a show that is 20 episodes, they could have added more scenes and development. The chemistry between the main leads was amazing to watch, it's just a shame that it didn't reach its full potential imo.
Vincenzo was entertaining and a fun ride no doubt, but it didn't quite hit as hard and fulfilling as it could have.
