Considering this show's ratings are at abysmal single digit levels, wouldn't have wanted to look at it..Yet,the…
I think the ratings are low because there is probably a tendency in korean culture to lean towards the more glamorous and larger than life themes of the show (you know the ones with exquisite sites and exorbitant anount of wealth) but this drama is very simple in those terms. I am just guessing, but maybe this could be the reason? I would recommend this drama to you only if you are looking for something mature, because this is not the usual korean drama that is going to just make you feel warm and fuzzy inside. Someone in the comment section aptly doscribed it as, “Watching Matrimonial chaos is like having a rich, meaningful conversation with an old friend about values, relationships and ultimately, connections”
If you look for feel good shows,Some shows that can fit in this category are-Your House Helper,Radio Romance ,Jugglers,Sungkyunwan…
I liked Radio Romance too (because the FL is one of my favourite actresses) and I am just about to complete 100 days my prince, although I think they stretched the amnesia too far. But thanks a lot for your contribution to this list :D
Of your list, I have only watched Fight for my way and Marriage not dating and haven't rewatched them, nor am I…
For me I watched that drama thrice, that is why I added it there. But I understand not everyone can have the same feeling about something that is so subjective. Still I would recommend you to watch the other dramas in the list :D
I loved A Poem A Day because it made me feel light and fluffy watching it (at the time, I was also watching The…
I too was watching Grat seducer along with APAD, and I just was so annoyed by the great seducer, tbh I just wished atleast one character would die in the end (ik a little dark of me to think that) And true what you said about the OSTs, I still have songs from APAD and Marriage not dating in my playlist.
It made me want to bury this drama whaaaa what different opinions on same scene!
You would better understand the scene after watching the other episodes. She acts that way because she has built up anger. I hope you still give this drama a try :D
Maybe try the Japanese original? It's pretty slice of life, but also light-hearted.
I think even the korean version is filled with comic situations this makes this drama really balanced. Haven’t seen the Japanese version but I am sure original would be way better. :D
You may be right. But I put it there because of the single dimensional characters, cliched role of female lead,…
If you like to analyse relationships and live for the Ad lib emotions (I do too), do give a read to my article currently watching: Matrimonial Chaos, maybe you would like the drama :D
Going to have to disagree with Marriage Not Dating. I think it's much more profound compared to other Kdramas…
You may be right. But I put it there because of the single dimensional characters, cliched role of female lead, and romance used as a filler. Coming down to the relationship of Daughter in Law and Mother in Law as far as I remember, it was rather simple relation which was used as a comedic opportunity rather than a well thought role portraying relationship dynamics. (But that’s just how I remember it, I have only watched this drama thrice)
