Here’s hoping ‘second chance’ tag refers to her resuming medical career….not staying with that dirt-bag, poop-head husband!

At this stage I’m hoping for a 3ML…just leave the the 1ML and 2ML behind! Even better…give up the romance…focus on success (and a better hair style), better female friends, take up medicine, find a cure for cancer, anything! This is a second life…make different choices!

He took an underage kid for a meal and nobody thinks this is wrong? Just cause he’s the protagonist? One…no one was picking this kid up? Two….we’re supposed to accept this because the ML is the ‘good guy’? Ok..haven’t finished seeing this episode so maybe these things are addressed but as a guardian to a little one this is too much of a trigger…ain’t nobody gonna talk to my kid (let alone buy him a meal) if I’m not around to supervise (and taste for poison!). Wtf!! 😡😡😳

I wish this was 12 episodes instead of 16…the angst is gonna kill me! I have all the feels for these characters…I think both FL and ML are killing (in a good way) their roles! It’s only a few episodes in and I already hate ML mother/ex-girlfriend/traitor employee/guy that tried to hit him; FL dead father/all of her aunts from father’s side/all her work colleagues/her stylist, etc…lol!

Petty detail…but why oh why does the FL dress like such a frump? Every other female character is dressed to the nines…but she’s dressed like a reject from a not-so-trendy thrift store! Lol…this drama is funny in a slightly crackpot, insane way! I’m watching it on HiTV btw…which is free (in the U.S….) with limited ads and no redirects or pop-ups….

I kinda like this…really like the FL. But…one question…why does the ML speak so loudly?

At this point I’m rooting for a happy-ever-after for Lu An Ran and her maid/friend Dong Qing….just the two of them cause the two Mu brothers are both annoying. I guess the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree..their father the emperor is annoying too lol!

FL got fired because she ‘dared’ to start her own law firm, boyfriend broke up with her also because he felt betrayed….

Going back in…from first to last! If this isn’t a recommendation then what is? Take the plunge my chingus….it’s an excellent, heartwarming drama!

I never said I loved the show…I said I really liked the show…there’s a difference. Also I don’t feel the need to mark down every show I’m currently watching as that would take up my whole day, lol. I’m not criticizing the show, I’m expressing my dissatisfaction with the lack of resolution…this is a whole ball of yarn that is tightly wound and it doesn’t look like it’s going to be unwound this season! Nonetheless I respect your opinion; please respect mine.

Not for nothing (because I really like this drama) but I’m getting tired of nothing really happening! Each episode establishes new dilemmas and no resolution in sight! So 4 episodes left for this season….will it end on a cliffhanger? Hate that….the reason I got into kdramas was that (most times) everything is resolved in 16 episodes……😡😡

And the award for badass bitch goes to…..Consort Yue! Fierce delivery! If this was a video game, there would be literal arrows hitting all her targets….lol….

Today has been a weepy mother-daughter drama day. First up was the mother-daughter scene in Love like the Galaxy and then this one. They both made me cry…..mothers=0, daughters=10…

This past episode broke my heart for CSS; her mother publicly crushed her self esteem to the ground….and in front of her haters to add fuel to the fire! I think the mother suffers from overwhelming guilt….she abandoned her daughter as an infant after all…but in some people this guilt manifests as anger! If CSS had turned out like the boring cousin her guilt would be less, I believe. Proud of CSS for standing up for herself….

They’re called ‘tsundere’…….

I get it…this isn’t a rom-com but a slice of life drama…and it’s clear that XF loves and is loyal to her family as lacking as they are…..

Gotta admit…I let out a loud laugh (amidst my tears) when they were forcing that poor child to sign that (illegal) agreement when they heard Xingfue at the door…thought they were gonna turn off the lights and draw the curtains and pretend nobody was home! Love me some Zhao Li Ying….she does a good portrayal of a tiger…nah forget that…a dragon living in a pint sized body!

I wish Xing Fue was married to Guan Tao….that Qinglai dude has no balls…surprised he fathered a child!
