I think it’s Botox….he literally can’t make any type of expression, lol! And that dance scene…I was cringing from secondhand embarrassment ! And agree…no chemistry between the leads. Better chemistry between the ex-wife/mother villain team! 😃😃
Children don’t fare too well in this drama…..the child FL pretended mothering was sent away with no fanfare (with nanny, I guess); the two baby brothers (who were apparently babies through the whole thing….no budget for teen actors?) were killed off-screen…and-not to forget-the FL had a miscarriage earlier in the drama. This drama is all over the place…for Republican era dramas prefer Fall in Love….that being said will still finish watching….hate not finishing something I’ve started 🙂
Although I found the FL’s best friend annoying, whiny and childish, I wouldn’t wish how she found out that her long-term love was a scuzzbucket -trash -receptacle-jerk-wad on anybody!! Just saying……. Let’s hope he gets his just desserts (and the best friend gets less annoying)!
I love Park Hae Jin! I’ve loved him since ‘Cheese in the Trap,’ he wasn’t a popular character, labeled as psychotic, an anti-hero,blah, blah, blah! But I loved the way he portrayed a very flawed character! He’s doing a great job in this drama as well! (Comments from an infatuated Ahjumma, lol).

Figuratively….it’s obvious that he’s catching feelings for her (although he’s repressed having feelings for anything for so long) and so it hurts him that she got hurt……
For all the comments hating on the FL…don’t quite understand. I watch these romcoms the same way I read romance novels….on team FL all the way!! She had her trust betrayed by someone she had invested 10 years of her life…and btw…must we sympathize with 2ML and 2FL…2FL and 2ML were screwing in the bed he shared for umpteen years with FL! Total disrespect…yuck to the max….get a f**king hotel room! And ML…yep your father is a sucky, disgusting human being…but FL was trying to help (albeit in a misguided way…guess she figured a father who didn’t commit suicide still had the potential to be a good one). And FL mother…whatya doing going through your daughter’s private things? Shame on you! And ML…you’re having a romance with an older woman who also happens to be your boss…being a female she’s got a lot more to lose than you…it’s always the females who get denigrated and lose out…males get a pat on the back…. Ok….end of rant…lol.

Don’t agree…QM was too righteous from the beginning…she never supported her sister (remember she admonished her mother for aiding and abetting FL in her bid to escape the living death of being sent to a monastery) she basically sold out 4th wife after being told by FL to keep the secret in aid of woman solidarity…just totally useless. Quite clear that she was jealous of her sister (FL) because her mother favored sister, although she was bio daughter of mother, but mainly cause SML was totally in love w/ FL…and she was hopelessly in love w/ SML. Not saying she deserved what happened…(that shouldn’t happen to anyone and people who do this should have their private parts burned off) but 2 wrongs don’t make a right…FL didn’t hurt anyone (who didn’t deserve it) in her bid to survive…QM is deceiving someone who doesn’t deserve it…and that is clearly wrong. I don’t think her being comforted by FL during a thunderstorm would’ve made a difference…weak is weak…
I think the last bits and pieces of s2/ep16 are an allegory: it features pairings of couples who were part of the whole concept but never connected directly…so Mama’s boy with clueless Princess-Wanna-Be; Object-of-Fantasy-seemingly unobtainable handsome older male with the Earth Goddess who basically only wanted a baby (she got two for the money—what a bargain, lol) and our mighty Queen (love her!) with a minor Prince (those abs are freaking incredible, btw!). I think the writer is trying to tell us that love, marriage and divorce make no sense whatsoever…and I have to agree! The ghost possession at the end is just extra melodrama…how else are we gonna get the goods on the lustful stepmom (I had to laugh when she prayed for the love of a younger man, hahaha…don’t we all…note to self: call momager K. Kardashian and see how she did it, lol). Total trash…you gotta love it, lol!!
Am I getting jealous vibes from the ‘brother’? By this point from clues dropped in previous episodes…it’s clear that FL is not truly related to so-called brother……when evil dad of ML looked at her first time as if seeing a ghost (he probably killed her real father/mother whom she resembles)….when comment made that she didn’t resemble brother and everyone looked around sneakily….
