I hope lesbianism isn't completely erased from the show that would be terrible. There are thousands of kdramas about straight couples and straight romance. There can be a leading drama with a side plot about lesbian love and a main plot about women supporting women and succeeding. Even the fact that some people think that this would be disgusting or a "political agenda" shows how much they have an agenda to keep queerness from being normal. Queerness existing is not an agenda.

I am autist female and personally there are harmful tropes that the TV show plays into like the idiot savant trope and autistic nonverbal. The show does however talk about autism being a spectrum and I wish it would show more of the spectrum other than two extremes. Woo Young Woo is treated very much like rich white male autists. She is coddled and her strangeness is waved away like just an annoying or odd quirk. However there are actually very meaningful scenes like Young Woo talking about Hans Aspberger and how disabled people we killed in the Nazi Holocaust as well as generally not valued as equal, competent, or respectable whole persons. The scenes discussing marriage had both downsides and upsides and Young Woo as a character doesn't allow others to define her worth but I also believe she bows down to normative Korean culture too much. Is that a problem with the show or is it a problem with Korean culture. It is true that savant qualities are rare among autistic people. Chronic fatigue, anxiety disorders, trauma disorders, HDHD, and alcoholism is more common than savant features. We all have our strengths and our weaknesses I just find that in Autistic people they tend to be more intense. Like i am a very creative person/verbal comprehension (98th percentile) but I also have slow processing (18th percentile).

I really really really hope that Naksu/Bu Yeon turns out/gets to be a badass this season. I really feel like the character of Naksu got totally shafted and ended up being a plot device for Jang Uk's character. Cmon Wong sisters where is the freakin strong badass fml we bloody deserve. If we get s1ep1 Naksu as part of this season then the character will finally live up to the potential instead of being made into a literal maid for the ml. Like cmon most powerful mage in Daeho to a maid!!! Even though I love Mu-Deoki i know that was super messed up.

Exactly! My partner is also autistic and I love how this show illustrates how autistic people are extremely caring and justice oriented. Just because we function differently when it comes to the social world does not mean that way is bad. I think neurotypical people can learn something from Ji Ho and autistic people in general. Communicating straightforwardly is a strength!

Jung Ji Ho's clear autism vibes are everything to me. I love love so much about this character and the portrayal. Ji Ho is so sweet, has a penchant for what is right and truthful, and struggles with understanding why people are upset about things in social situations. I am autistic and I know Ji Ho is to because he processes the world exactly like me. Last episode there was even a scene about him being abused and having trauma due to his autism. Go Kyung Po is a king in this series.

Honestly I think this drama is criminally underrated. Sure it has problematic aspects but that it part of why it is so good. The flaws of the characters are infuriating in the best way and the chemistry and acting are top notch imo. Should be rated 8.5, it is criminal that her private life and others are seen as better.

I need more Jung So mIn and the FL being badass. Hopefully that is what the second half of the drama is all about! I am tired of the trope of the powerful FL losing all of her ability so that she is just a plot device for the ML to become strong ugh. I want them to be a powerful kickass duo plz.

I am really excited for this drama especially seeing as I love both the actors for the FL and ML. The director however has had some spotty projects and there doesn't seem to be any information about the screenwriters for the project. I am really hoping it goes well.
