But they said all these things happened hundred years ago, emperor doesn't look 100 year old. It's hard to imagine the timeline.

I watched it twice but there's still one thing I don't understand. Princess Nanyin was buried with some prince (I'm really bad at remembering names).
The concubine who gave birth to the assassinator child was not the princess. And Princess married to that illegitimate child and the give birth to a child (should be a princess cause LXY last name is Li probably from his father).
Then how the current emperor get the throne if he is not the royal blood. Ofcourse no is royal blood from them. But how come LLH is royal blood.

Or else the concubine killed the princess intentionally to give the the throne to her illegitimate son. And the current emperor is the son of late illegitimate emperor?
