Can someone enlighten me, I might have missed something. I thought SS when out of seclusion so she can get engaged to YS. But when the empress had the conversation with LBY, she mentioned that SS isn’t engaged. Did SS canceled ? Or it didn’t happened?

I’m not good at elaborating but here is one example in Episode 36…
When ss and lq was alone after the swimming scene. He was showing her the pressure point on her back. WeTV translates this as ‘Mingmen’ while viki calls it the ‘gate of life’. Later when they are on the bed he directed her hand to his back showing her his pressure point.. and said ‘from now my life is your’ out of nowhere…whereas viki connected the two scenes together by translating “from now on my gate of life will be yours. I find viki translation so much more meaningful and the conversation flows.

Vicki also do monthly subscription and you can cancel anytime.

I’m subscribed to viki yearly, however they are slow on translating (this is due to the fact the translators are all volunteers … doing amazing work!!). I only subscribe to WeTV or other path-forms monthly for a particular drama I can’t wait!!! Like this one

Just rewatched some episodes on Vicki and the translation is so different and more detailed than WeTV! It’s almost like a whole new drama…

The way he hugged her when she was crying , he was frightened and overwhelmed. It shows how much he cares about her very touching scene

Lucky LBY intention towards SS are genuine, she was put in a difficult spot, he seems scary when he wants something. I would hate to be on his bad side. Its nice to see the leads have flaws in their characters, makes the show so relatable.

Yes I think it was a calculated move on behalf of lby. As if it’s a done deal.
