My favorite part is diving into the characters’ morality. It’s so fascinating to explore their choices, see…
For Xiao Huan, he can’t be virtuous all the time, even if he wants to be. Sometimes, to achieve the end result, you have to make sacrifices and this drama shows that repeatedly. It’s definitely a chess game. I love how the drama gives real depth to the characters none of them are truly evil or truly good. They’re all shades of grey.
I’m absolutely loving this drama at the moment. I love how the show takes its time to let us really understand the characters and watch their development. The pacing is perfect , every scene flows together, and the main lead is always ten steps ahead, keeping us in suspense. I love how devoted he is to her and to his nation, and how he balances both responsibilities. The little looks and moments they share are so beautiful, and the way they work together is so in sync. Like Kumar said 'they’re truly a match made in heaven'
I just found out that the male lead Neo Hou sang the OST 若你的世界没有暖阳 (IF Your World Had No Sunshine) for the drama! I have even more respect and admiration for him now the song is absolutely beautiful, and his voice is so smooth and captivating.
During the forced marriage scene I was already noticing how different MingYi was acting and it struck me as a…
I can’t imagine what JBZ was thinking. If it wasn’t him pretending, his jealousy would’ve gone through the roof! He must’ve been holding himself back from reacting to especially when situ tried to kiss haha
From the preview it seems she makes an oath to guard it, probably so it won't fall into the wrong hands, I don't…
I remember in the earlier episodes when the ML’s master was forced to reveal the secret and she was tortured to death. The dialogue said the family bo clan made an oath not to make it. Doesn’t this also apply to our FL?
In the episode 26 trailer preview, can anyone make out what the oath? Was it “not to reveal the GMD antidote” or “not to make it”? I feel like if it’s “not to make it,” our ML is in trouble. 🤔

To me, it seems like a combination of what Lovely said and the idea of a soul manor. I haven’t read the novel, but after watching so many dramas, I’ve picked up that kind of vibe
can someone explain what a spirit well is? thank you 🫶🏻
It seems similar to the idea of a soul manor in When Destiny Brings the Demon, where a person has an inner spiritual space or realm connected to their soul or power
This is my speculation on how the rest of the story will unfold. Ji Bozai and Ming Yi are both poisoned, but there is only one antidote. Ji Bozai gives it to Ming Yi to save her, even though it puts his life in danger. Ming Yi is actually the last member of the Bo family, who ended up in the royal family(not sure how). Later, she learns how to make the antidote and saves Ji Bozai. They then live happily ever after!
I thoroughly enjoyed this drama, bingeing it in just two days! The ending was, in my opinion, the best possible outcome for the plot. However, there are a few flaws or questionable matters that stood out to me.
One of the biggest issues I had was the lack of insight into Zhong Xiwu's true character. We only see him through his actions towards taking care of her while she's in a coma, and everything else is based on her perception of him. This left me wanting to see more of their interactions at the end, or even a recap of all the ways he cared/protected her during her exiled. Despite this, I still enjoyed the drama overall and appreciated the conclusion.
I haven't felt so invested in a drama like this for years.. truely a master piece. After reading the below comments a lot of ppl are saying it is a bad ending... based on some leaked script. I might not continue this drama until it stops airing.. and preferably after Xmas. I would hate for it to dampen my festive mood.
I think this is probably an area where they cut scenes so how it didn't happen was left a bit vague to us. I think…
I think I read somewhere in the novel. SS did had a conversation with YS after seeing LBY, cancelling the engagement cause she realised she was still in love with him. It would be nice if they included this scene in the drama.
