according to the webtoon, she and her mother went to the hotel once and she was so amazed because the place was so great and when she saw the people working there, all of them were smiling and she thought that they all looked so pretty so she also wants to work there like them.
i know that the drama is full of cliches but isn't that what a romcom kdrama is about? so far, i'm already liking this! also if you read the manhwa, which shows the story of when they were kids, you will understand why junho's character is like that, someone who is always grumpy. Tho i agree that this type of drama is much enjoyed when binged rather than being waited every week.
after episode 8 and seeing the trailer for episode 9, i'm just glad that the writer made dr. cha find out immediately his husband's affair after her family knew about it. big applause also for her choice of leaving the house after knowing everything because if I were in her place, I wouldn't be able to continue my life like I knew nothing and pretend that everything was okay, her children are old enough they can handle themselves

Yeah. That actually broke my heart too. Jung hwan is a very nice guy. He chose his friendship with taek over his love to deoksun. But taek also did the same thing tho. He was about to confess to deoksun but then cancelled his date with her when he found out that jung hwan likes her too, which means that he also cherishes his frienship with Jung hwan. That's why he never confessed until 6 years later. It's just frustrating how 6 years later, Jung hwan still has hesitations. He was the first one to find out that Deoksun was stood up by his date, but he was still hesitant if he should go to her. While Taek immediately forfeited his match and went to her. That's why for me, Taek deserves her more than Jung hwan.

It's kind of a family/teen/slice of life drama with teen romance in it. I could say that it's one of the best dramas that I have ever watched, every episode focuses on different story/issue and the bond between the 5 friends and their families are so tight which makes the drama very heartwarming for me. Every episode made me cry because of how loving the family is. The exciting stuff about it for me is probably the husband hunting in the drama. The drama is also well-paced, you won't even know who the husband is until around the last few episodes so you might as well give it a try.

Also, I agree in some parts of what you said. Although I love the originally thought plot so much and the characters, it's so bothering that there are lots of questions left unanswered. I was kind of expecting for the directors to atleast give some explanation about what happened to them in the end but we got nothing. Tho the finale was really satisfying for me.
