hmm I put this on hold for a few days while looking elsewhere for entertainment, but I've realised how much I actually wanna finish it

I don't like super explicit stuff and don't mind slow burn which is also a reason I like period dramas, however if the actors are already going to kiss..why not include a more romantic one as well??..

I actually prefer the king and queen's romance over the lead couple. wish they had more scenes! sure I have felt a bit giddy in a few of the lead couple's scenes but something's missing..

on episode 21 or so and what's the plot?

they keep killing off characters. like I didn't even prepare myself for the dr jang dude's death (not that I was that connected to him but still) it just happened and I still haven't processed it.

i just started this again after pretty much dropping it back in august 2022. but after seeing a couple drama that have some kinda bad elements, i've learnt to somtimes just take things as they are and not take things to seriously. if you can this drama is kinda fun (on ep 11) I'll see how my opinion changes..
I also started again after wanting to watch more dramas set in goryeo, baekje or something older
I'm also a bit more interested in the king and queen's relationship..kinda wish they had their own drama

if you take it for what it is and ignore the weird beginning scenes than it's pretty good. 9/10

towards the end and the ship battle this was kinda giving me yona of the dawn vibes
