yeah, but the poster makes it look like a romance centric drama
I may watch it at some point for the history part

I watched this back in 2023, and remember losing interest in the main couple once she returns to SK, then my interest shifted to the second couple, the writer did them dirty T_T

I finally visited sigriswil and iseltwald (swiss filming locations) for my birthday today!

yeah.. always the dumb childhood connections plot..

I don't care about the rest of the plot, I only watch the main couple on regular speed

I hate to say it, but that kissing scene in ep 7/8 didn't really make me feel anything.. T_T
I haven't gotten one of those squeeling fangirly moments once in this drama honestly.. but maybe it's because I've seen all these clichés too many times before.. now it's up to the actors and directing to make me feel something different..
anyways, I think maybe it would've benefited to be directed by a business proposal's director, it would've been more upbeat and fun
This isn't a hate comment, I'm still watching this drama on ep 8 although I am getting bored..

Now i'm looking forward to ep 7

the male lead's actor reminds me of ben barnes

well.. I have seen 9 eps and I am losing interest.. maybe I should've binged this instead of dragging it out for weeks..

it's been 2 years since my first rewatch.. maybe it's time for a second rewatch..

8 episodes in, the ml is a man child, but at least he's a charming man child hehe
(however, I can't get over the fact that the male lead is almost 40 and behaves so immaturely.. remember his action movie in ep 1? where did that guy go?..)

the romance is a bit fast paced, but it's not bad and the actors have chemistry

I wish she would do more though
