which ep are you on? if you mean the love triangle.. it goes on a couple episodes but his crush on the FL is more subtle, except for him putting her face on a painting that later wei shao burns down and then after that wei yan leaves on his own..

Not really, because the leads are already married from like Episode 3 or 4 on.
after they are married the ML's cousin (wei yan) does develop a crush on FL but the cousin wasn't an annoying character for me and it gets resolved and also it happens when the FL already likes the ML
