I read somewhere that the author of the manga took inspiration from pride and prejudice.. also if you look at the ending scene in p&p 2005 it looks kinda similar to the kiss scene in ep 9 of this drama..

actually older dramas are a lot more to my taste than newer dramas. I actually agree with the things you wrote here. old drama or new drama doesn't make a difference really if I end up liking the drama or not.. but I do like old dramas more than new ones. but that doesn't mean I like all of them and I appreciate when other people leave honest comments about dramas that aren't good, so that I don't waste time watching it.. of course we all have our personal preference, but If I don't like something about a drama I'll comment it and hopefully it will save someone some time..
