yeah it depends on how people write it in english. hee ju is written as hui ju in hangul. some people write joo instead of ju. but I prefer baek sa eon to paik sa eon 😅
yeah. some dramas manage to still be good despite clichés because they have a good story or at least good characters. for instance the taiwanese drama autumn's concerto is loaded with clichés but it still manages to pull it off
someone also said that maybe he has known she can talk since the interview or whatever but is pretending not to know, so that he can still talk to her on the kidnapper's phone..
