THE BEST DRAMA FOR ME. It's just so hard to find anything even close to this one. This is a masterpiece in the simplest sense. The story is so simple - talks about love, family, friendship, school, work and yet it pulls you so close to the characters and makes you feel that you are living in their 'world'. It's THAT relatable. Whatever Jiaxu or Sang Zhi or Sang Yan is feeling, you start to feel it too. They made it such a realistic fairytale kind of story. Many people get surprised with the rating since there's nothing spectular or 'out of this world' with this drama, but I believe it's what this drama made the viewers feel during and after watching it that made the rating SO HIGH. The fact that it made the viewers love this drama so much speaks a lot about how top tier the chemistry of the leads is, how greaaaat the acting of the actors is, how amazing the OSTs are, and how goood the entire production is. Everything that I craved for from a drama, I surprisingly got it from Hidden Love. A beautiful gem indeed. CONGRATS TEAM HIDDEN LOVE!

Welcome to cdrama. It really depends on the story/character. Not all FLs act young/cute. Just bear with it for a while. The FL is acting cute/ like a kid in the first few episodes just so we, the viewers, could see the transition/change when she finally becomes a "lady" (and when the ML later on finally sees her as a lady and no longer a little girl like before)
