This started off really well, the first few episodes were amazing and I was completely invested in the story and in the OTP. Their chemistry was very natural. But the last few episodes were kind of a mess, it's like it went on full makjang mode and started focusing less and less on the OTP. That was disappointing.
And about Andrew's acting, I didn't find it awkward at all. If it were any other actor, Chat would probably be the typical angry pra'ek with daddy issues you find in a lot of lakorn. But Andrew's unique portrayal of Chat with all the little things he added to the character, his mannerisms, way of speaking, emotions etc made him more realistic and different from the usual pra'ek. It was a breath of fresh air for me and it just made me love Andrew even more. And what can I say about Matt? The girl just proved once again why she's one of the best actresses of her generation (and my favorite). I loved her in here.
Despite its flaws this is a good lakorn, just wish they've focused more on the OTP, but nonetheless I still loved it. 9/10.
The ONLY reason I gave this a try was because I fell in love with Ugly Ducking: Perfect match and needed my Kasetsin…
If you want to see Push in more romcoms I definitely recommend Wannueng Jaa Pben Superstar and Leh Nangfah. His character is really sweet in both dramas.
Honestly, I've watched way too many slap/kiss lakorns over the years and I just can't stand them anymore. Even if there's no rape the guy is still violent and agressive towards the girl and their relatioship, no matter how he redeems himself, it's still abusive. I know it's just fiction but I can't bring myself to root for a romance like that anymore. Shame since I really like the cast.
