Nah, there are many terrible shows but isn't one of it. I played the game and I would say this adaptation did well to embellish their friendship!
JJY is very fun as HLS
CZY played his part well
Our fav Murong Ziying got more emotion here than in the game
Meng Li is not just some elite Guniang here

I used to hate her acting, no offense but she's really acting badly in her previous dramas.

BUT wow she played her role very very well as Han Lingsha in Sword and Fairy 4. Maybe playful character is her strong suit! I was proven wrong!
This is a proof that one can improve themself, and I hope she'll keep improving and I might be a fan in the future!

Is ancient detective worth watching?

She's of Uyghur origin, and most of the Uyghurs and their ancestors are Muslims so the name Omar etc is not a rarity

Her role in the dance of the sky empire is really good, fun character with fun aacting

Saw her again on the ultimate note but they really did her dirty in this one, baddly dubbed her voice and... nvm spoiler

Sha also did a good job acting as a ghost in the soul snatcher movie.

So I can't say that she's a really amazing actress or not as her role is very limited so far BUT can confirm that she's not a bad actress at all.

I hope the won't dub her voice here
