Fluff
Personally, I only watch romantic comedies if I think the leads are good looking enough. The plot is usually too dry for the drama to be judged on it. For Love Scout, it meets all the minimum criteria, but it's just not that great.
I say that I don't care about the story, but I have massive gripes about it. The main conflict was wrapped up way too quickly, and hurdles in their relationship were overcome so easily that you wonder why they even angst over it in the first place. Even 12 episodes seemed a bit too long. There were so many things they could have explored with the headhunter profession, but they barely scratched the surface. The secondary romance also felt like an afterthought.
Acting wise, good but not amazing. I actually like Han Ji-min a lot because she's pretty reserved as an actor. There's more nuance to her performance compared to her other Korean counterparts. However, I do think that she has tendencies to go a little OOC in the lovey dovey bits. She's definitely better in melodramas. For Lee Jun-hyuk, he has very little to work with. His character is just "perfect", and so there's very little to expand on.
The music is fantastic. I actually wanted to score the show 7.5 because I think there is zero depth to the plot. But, the OST is so good that even though I normally put zero weight on it, I had to get it to an 8. One of the best I've heard, no doubt.
If you want just a light, fun watch, you can check this out. Don't expect too much of a story.
