I've seen more of his dramas because I don't like to judge an actor by just one work, but he's the same even playing characters that are described as passionate and charismatic. I have actors in mind who have also played characters that show no emotions and it's a completely different story.
He's just not my type, so I won't stick around to continue watching someone I don't like as an actor and then complain.
I'm interested in the story, but after ten episodes, I'm still not convinced by Lin Geng Xin (in terms of acting, I do not care if he is not handsome as described in the novel). There are actors with better acting skills, but the production of this drama certainly wants to "win" by reuniting Zhao Liying and Lin Geng Shin. I won't go any further, he's not my cup of tea and I don't find Zhao Liying charismatic enough either. Normally if I don't like one of the leads, I usually stay because the other one can carry the show.
