A plot hole I'm sure but for some reason being all shy and bitter about not being dated as if it was their first time when they literally just got off a relationship is a common trope in kdramas.
I mean used goods have no business acting all brand new.

I wanted to watch a coming of age romantic drama with history on the side but the comments hint that this is a bit heavier, messier and more convoluted than a mere provincial love story.
I've already seen the 2001 Korean film "Friend" - not my cup of tea so I'm not taking up this one either.
