Wow. . . I have no words. I don’t think I can start any drama after this one because I can’t get over with the feels that last scene gave me. And, I don’t want to get over with it either.
This drama is truly a masterpiece. The realness of each character is so amazing. I love how well-written they are. Having characters which seem real to the eyes of viewers makes the emotions very raw as well, as if you watch real people’s lives unfold in front of your eyes. They don’t make scenes very dramatic as well and I like it. The storyline won’t make you frustrated. It offers various emotions, but you’ll stay calm. This drama has that vibe telling you “be still.”
The ending was amazing. That was one of the most satisfying ending I have ever watched. The smile that Park Dong Hoon gave Lee Ji An was priceless. Seeing their eyes full of admiration and content was so beautiful to watch. It made me so proud for the both of them and made me so happy. “Ah, finally a life that they both deserve.” Comparing their faces from the first few episodes compared to that from the last scene, you would see how much they grew. I hope the same goes for all humans. We all deserve to be happy.
That scene alone hints a romance for the both leads and I want to leave it like that. It was satisfying and memorable. I loved it. Can’t say more. 10/10.
So far, this is amazing! I honestly stopped myself from watching this because there are only 8 episodes so far. Now that I failed to do that, I’m kind of regretting it because this will probably 10x more amazing if I binge watch. Waaaaah! Wednesday, please come sooner!
I just noticed that it was really based on the manhwa! Lol the manhwa was r-18 tho but the drama has no scenes like that (in case u searched for the webtoon first)
The trailer looks exceptional. I'm not very familiar with Kim Tae Ri and Lee Byung Hun, but I love Yoo Yeon Seok and Byun Yo Han! Furthermore, I would like to see more of Kim Eun Sook's works as she writes on a vast variety of genres. I hope this wouldn't be a let down and would be as good as what the trailer implies!
Romance and Crime...two genres that are difficult to do together! This is my favorite combination, but there aren’t much dramas about it. Will definitely watch!
I sincerely enjoyed this show although some flaws were quite evident. It’s difficult for me to finish any show recently and I liked this one!
It would have been nice to see the colleagues’ reactions about their relationship. It would have been nicer if an extra episode was added to wrap things up. I want Dr. Ye to meet Bo Young’s family as well.
And can I just say how awesome Lee Joon Hyuk is? When I first saw him in this drama, I thought, “He looks similar to one character from Stranger... nah, their vibes are too different, probably not him.” BUT IT IS HIM. I love how he can make himself look gentle and despicable in his roles. Amazing!
I thought Shin Min Ho looks adorable at least during the beach scene. BUT HEY, HE ISN’T AT ALL. He wasn’t a good guy even during their college days. Man, he’s a damn user and a freeloader. I hate how he rejected Bo Young so harshly as if the poem that she gives him everyday do him harm.
And then again, he acted petty after knowing that Woo Bo Young and Ye Jae Wook are dating. Did Bo Young ever give him false hope? Nope. He did everything on his own. Bo Young is naturally kind and he knows that. So obviously, she’ll act nice towards him.
Yes, I know he’s hurt. But that doesn’t give him the right to trample on a good relationship. That’s just selfish. No one’s responsible for his feelings except him. That goes the same for all people.
If he continued to just comfort her during her sad days and be happy during her best days, I’d support him and forget all he did in the past. But, nope. . .just nope.
It's so sad that there are no jtbc drama awards. Why? What other drama awards are there in Korea and when are…
I think it's because it's a cable channel. Same with tvN and OCN which also produce noteworthy dramas. I agree that they deserve to get tons of awards.
