It would be too sensitive of a topic in Korea after the bed scene. They're probably not going to play the siblings…
When I stared this drama, I was also certain that they wouldn’t because incest is a taboo topic. However, they were dropping hints for the sibling plot but maybe I’m wrong. I just hope they really won’t because the chemistry between Jung So Min and Seo In Guk is amazing, and I want them to have a happy ending.
This is the kdrama that I am most excited about. Seo In Guk, Jung So Min, and Park Sung Woong are really good actors. Furthermore, the chemistry between SIG and JSM look outstanding. Sadly I wouldn't be able to watch this until I take the NMAT this October lol but at least i'll slightly binge watch by then!
I want to watch this drama, but I'm a bit iffy on the age gap. The writer and director of this drama are the same…
Believe me, I was also bothered by the age gap before watching this show, but my views changed when I started watching it. The romance is far from being cringey. It will give you the subtle feelings, but every simple gesture would be impactful.
So to answer your question: the romance is beautiful and it’s far different from Goblin. As for your worry about the age gap, I don’t think it will bother you. I never really cared about the age gap when I started watching this :D
The characters are so beautiful that you won’t be able to help yourself but love them all. The sad thing is that, as much as you love them, it’ll also be as painful. I still find this drama so beautiful, but can someone pls fix my heart AAAAAAAAAA I AM SO SAD
from the preview seems like everyone will die lol ... im so scared of the ending ughhh
Episode 21 vividly showed how beautiful the relationships were among the main leads and it pains me to even imagine if any of them will die. The plot implies that they will, but it will sure cause me a lot of pain lol
I'm from the Philippines :) During the Japanese occupation in our country, about a thousand of our women were imprisoned as comfort women for the Imperial Japanese Army.
I was nowhere near ready for episode 19. The scenes ripped my heart as if I’m the one shot by those bullets. Coming from a country colonized by Imperial Japan for a relatively shorter time yet left in despair, I’m well aware how cruel those years were for our countrymen. However, seeing those scenes being depicted right before my eyes pained me so much that tears escaped from my eyes. The scenes were beautifully shot, but those who were shot ended up in a not so beautiful scene.
20 episodes in and I’m still hooked.
The acting is so good, I couldn’t say more. I’m loving how the actors are portraying the characters so well.
You have no idea what a massive trauma bullying can make. Her way of doing things is very understandable. at least…
I honestly agree. Hearing such hurtful remarks while growing up has a serious and devastating effect on one’s self-concept and self-image. Once a person starts to think in congruence to what other people say about them, then it’s not easy to make their self-image positive again. Mi Rae being so anxious and conscious about things that are not even happening yet is understandable. She was bullied enough so she decided to get a plastic surgery for social acceptance, but her efforts to regain her self might vanish in a snap if she makes the “wrong move”. I really hope she soon realizes her real worth!
