I got turned off kdramas due to toxic fans who sabotage other actors' dramas. My enjoyment of a kdrama I loved…
Oh my God, the alchemy of souls one was mind-blowing!! People were spamming GYJ's accounts with hate comments because she was replacing Jung Somin in the second season. I still watched it anyways because I started the series because of GYJ (fight scene in episode 1)
i am going to say this. i'm sorry but MOST of you guys only care about the "nostalgia" of these 'old original…
Okay, wow. Chill out, notice how absolutely nobody in this day and age sees The Heirs as a prime example of a good kdrama? But I understand your point. Kdramas are not giving the vibe of the 2010s because they are now being commercialized, it seems like they're making new drams everyday for the sake of making them. YOU might not care about the plot but many people do. I grew up watching Asian dramas because western ones were too predictable and inappropriate. At most, a 2024 drama has like five good episodes and then falls flat. Why? The plot isn't strong (My Demon) People are not wrong for wanting better writing.
I've been watching kdramas from the 2010sðŸ˜ðŸ˜ I had to go back and dig out "My Love from the Star"/"My Love from Another Star", "Welcome to Waikiki", "Oh My Ghost" and the likes. Marty My Husband was no doubt the best this year, plot wise and acting wise. I loved Lovely Runner but the plot seems irrelevant now, and I can't for the life of me get into My Sweet Mobster
