It's okay but not a must-watch
A fast paced drama that will keep you entertained, but the a bit messy. The first part was interesting and really well done, but then Bongsu shows up and that's when the show starts derailing. Now I must say that I find Bongsu a very fun character to watch the problem is that the initial story has nothing to do with him. I feel like the first part of the show is about Seong A struggling with being a shaman and having a personal/school life and falling in love with Gyeonu, the unlucky boy that hates shaman and Seong A is trying to save from dying. The second part of the show is about Bongsu and they just forget about Gyeonu's problem.
I just feel like it could be two different stories or maybe a longer drama. And they definitely should have cut-off a few characters, not that I don't like the side characters, but the time used on them could have been used for other things.
The acting was nothing ground breaking but still good and the actors had a quite good comedic timing.

It had potential but the writting isn't it.
The plot is a mix of The First Frost, Hidden Love and Always Home. However a badly written version of all of them. The acting was great but the biggest problem is that the drama doesn't care to develop any character aside from YingTao (and even her feels undeveloped sometimes) and they kind of try with the male lead (but they fail quite miserably).
The love story feels off. On the first part of the drama (when they are kids) its sweet and makes sense why they like each other but after the time jump it feels weird YingTao still having a crush on ml after he was basically ghosted her and was rude to her. YingTao's crush borders on unhealthy!NSometimes it feels like she thinks the ml is a god, other times it seems like she can't let go of how he was in the past, And that makes it so hard to root for them! Like why is this girl so forgiving? Why does she making her life based around QiaoXi??
I understand QiaoXi is a character that is hard to write. And I think where the writters fell flat was when they decided to make his actions easly forgiven by fl. His actions aren't unforgivable (expecially when you discover the background behind them) but he only explains when sh*t hit the fan and he needs to say sorry and that doesn't feel chartastic to the audience that mainly saw the fl sufering because it doesn't show him thinking and regretting his decisions. And when it does show him regretting something is to quick.

Truly a Series of Unfortunate Events
Probably my favorite cdrama. It's a fast paced dark-comedy, with some wacky plots that manages to have a lot of comical moments and irony while still maintaining quite solid and touching moments. The directing and editing ARE AMAZING! The main actors bounce off each other effortlessly, showing the audience their chemistry and why they were choosen to portray such complex characters.
The five first minutes of the show is a master class of how to write a witty, engaging and interesting show. From the start, I was intrigued by the unlucky guy and how he crossed fates with THE problem (aka the female lead).
The maestry of the writer was to create two characters that are pretty much the antithesis of one another and make them depend on each other, which leads to a very funny and hartwarming story about healing and learning how to trust again (in themselves and in other people).
Whenever I think about this show I don't know if I appreciate how short it is or if I hate it. Sometimes I feel like they told a very coherent and good story with only 8 episodes. Other times I wish we could have seen them in the aftermath of everything and how they dealt with their problems, obviously they changed a lot during the show and started learning how to open up and heal but they still have a lot to address, like the fact that Mi Chong was suicidal and that Zhi Liao suffered a lot in the hands of people she thought she could trust and was drugged and almost r*p* d but I guess I will just have to let it go.
