Yes it's basically an omnibus drama, but the actual main characters from ep1 will be appearing in each ep as the first case is continuing bit by bit. I just uploaded ep2 btw!

Not trying to argue but I literally posted a comment below which was the top 2 comments before this one was posted. Not that hard to find and read.
I don't really care about "they don't know yet" and stuff like that i just don't like it and I genuinely can not be nice when things like this happened in one of my subbing projects.

It's not like I prevented them from watching on these sites I just DO NOT want to see ppl share those sites instead of the original source. It's not even a rule.

What would it cost to just help a small request from someone who is making fansubtitles for free. I don't see what I did here is harsh. That's just my way of telling people, if anyone doesn't like then don't use my subs.

My comment which was placed 2nd from the very top comment at that time, it pointed out very easily where to get the subs, they didn't even bother to read it so why should I who spent days and nights to make subs be nice for some ignorance like this.

but this is clearly not a romance drama, it's only a small part of the whole story and not even the focus. the initial plot literally says that ishiko and haneo will work together and challenge each other as they grow, does not necessarily mean that they should end up in romantic relationship. their dynamic as partners still goes impressive until the end, that's the whole main point of this drama, they stick to the plot and live up to the drama title.

If a ship in a non-romance drama does matter big for you that's on you but ishiko and haneo didn't end up becoming a romantic couple is not an unfortunate thing tbh.

So far it's unassuming and not flashy which is a nice thing, I'm hoping to see more of the struggles of preparing for art university enrollment instead of the romantic side (it does have romance and that's okay for me but hoping it won't overshadow the main theme lol). Though, I'm a bit biased because I like series with similar theme like anime/manga Blue Period and Iribito which I also subbed last year.

Taiga Dramas are annual project and in high-budget production each year and it has definitely its certain (and wide) audience range in Japan. I think what you wrote sounded a little bit ignorant.
(What the other people recommended you above is a taiga drama too).

Though if what you're looking for is something shorter, you might want to check Nobunaga Concerto, Chushingura no Koi or other NHK historical short dramas.

Japan has been making historical dramas since 1963. It's called Taiga Drama.
Look up on wiki and you'll find a number of titles.
