Welcome to my little BL world. ♡

I’ve been watching BL dramas since 2017, and every year I fall even more in love with them. What started as “I’ll just watch one” somehow turned into finishing an entire drama in a day… more often than I’d like to admit. My watchlist is endless, my sleep schedule is questionable, and somehow I still think starting another series is a great idea.

One of my favorite things has been watching the BL industry grow over the years. I still remember when we only had a handful of series to look forward to, very little promotion, almost no international attention, and we celebrated every tiny piece of content we could get. Seeing how far it’s come—with incredible productions, amazing cinematography, stronger scripts, talented actors, world tours, fan meetings, variety shows, behind-the-scenes content, and so much love from fans around the world—honestly makes me so happy. It’s been beautiful watching this community grow.

BL is so much more than a genre to me. It’s the stories that stay with you, the couples you accidentally become emotionally attached to, the actors whose talent never stops amazing you, and those tiny moments that somehow make your whole week better.

Of course, it’s not all sunshine. It’s screaming at unnecessary misunderstandings, complaining about frustrating plots, questioning every terrible decision a character makes, surviving second-hand embarrassment from awkward scenes, and saying “WHY?!” at my screen at least once every episode. Somehow… I keep coming back for more.

And let’s be honest—the fun doesn’t end with the drama. Give me behind-the-scenes chaos, variety shows, interviews, fan meetings, games, bloopers, cast interactions, and all the random funny moments that make the actors even more lovable. Half the joy is watching the friendships, the laughter, and the fandom celebrating every little interaction together.

These stories have made my life brighter in so many ways. They’ve given me comfort, unforgettable memories, amazing characters, incredible actors to admire, and a hobby that still makes me as excited as it did back in 2017.
