Just curious, but how was it received in China? I can't find any information on it. The show doesn't even have a Wikipedia page. Only watched the first 25 episodes and I have to say that while it's not amazing, the character development and the actors have made this show so lovable. I think this might become one of my favorites. And just a side note, has anyone noticed that the main leads always seem to be color coordinated?
Personally, I felt there was no character development. It was as if they just suddenly fell in love. While the game part kept it interesting, I never really understood the romance. The large emphasis on beauty was also a bit off-putting.
Has anyone else noticed that sometimes when the robowatch is taken off Nam Shin lll powers off and sometimes he doesn't? I thought that he turned off w/o the battery from the watch, but sometimes, like the last episode, he doesn't turn off immediately or doesn't turn off at all. But when the spoiled rich girl took off his watch, he powered off.
I wish Hyun Bin wasn't always playing a CEO. It would be more interesting if Park Shin-Hye was the traveler and Hyun Bin was the Hotelerier. Still really excited though.
The discrimination is so misleading. It makes it seem as if it is a typical go back in time for girl drama. For those who are considering watching it, let me tell you, it is not like those typical dramas. The main lead is forced to repeat the same day over and over again. As you watch it, you'll understand why. I went thinking it'd be a shallow love story, and I found out that it's much deeper than I expected. It might not be for everyone, this is the type of show where you just have to be patient. But the story is pretty interesting and each episode is only 30 mins. I love the music in it. The character development was also fun to see. The acting was decent, based on the scene it was decent, good, or really good
I've been so skeptical of legal dramas lately because they all see, the same, but I'm so glad I decided to watch this. I love the character development.
I wanna watch it for the actors...but all the negative reviews. What I find really confusing is that it won so many awards. It even won best drama in the 10th korean drama awards. But then again, with so many bad reviews, I feel really apprehensive.
Is this supposed to be a romance? Cause I heard for the other seasons, there's a different female lead. I'm still on episode 5, so I'm not sure if they're supposed to be friends or something more. Though it's a good enough show, I'd watch even w/o romance.
Each episode was split in order to air bypass Korean broadcasting laws and provide more airtime for commercials. It's really only 16 episodes. For any MBC or SBS that aired from may 2017 and onwards you can assume the number of episodes are half of what they are listed.
It's not a bad show, but I think it's overrated. I never understood how the romance started, it felt a bit like Romeo and Juliet. " She's pretty" "he's handsome" " I Love You". But the chemistry between the actors mostly makes up for that.
The plot felt like it was being carried by short sweet and funny moments. I think it was the weakest part of the show. The plot lacks depth and substance. The second leads had more character development than the main leads. All in all, it's a good show if you're looking for a light and easy watch.
The premise is interesting and cinematography is really beautiful. Though, I'm a bit worried about the execution of the plot. I loved Secret Garden, and while I enjoyed the Heirs, I found DOTS to be only a fun watch, but not really memorable. I really hope this drama has more character development and a more solid plot. The age gap between the leads is also kind of worrying...guess I'll have to just go in with an open mind.
