Right, Fangsi character is not weak, she knows what she wants to do but it's frustrating at times coz she's so stubborn. I hope this ends in about 24 eps or so but 42 eps is definitely stretching. I hope writer knows how to keep it entertaining and interesting without being too draggy.

agree with you on that, this is why I am faithfully following as it airs. I guess it's bcoz Jerry is in it and the production team quite managed to gets lots of sponsors for the show. I have watched up to ep 14 and we are going back and forth between two couples fight and Fangsi is getting beaten down by Xiangnan. I guess Fangsi can't be successful yet since it's only a little over 1/4 of the drama. The plot is going to be so repetitious. Still, this is a high quality C-drama with lots of fancy outfits, settings, so I will finish watching it.

Excited for this drama as Baek JinHee and Yoon Hyun Min leads. Can trust writer and director to deliver another addicting makjang family dramas.

I am looking forward to My Daughter Geum Sa Wol, I am a sucker for makjang family drama. I like both of the casts, Baek Jin Hee and Yoon Hyun Min, can trust those two for their acting and the writer is known for writing makjang and director has done famous dramas. So I am super excited. I just hope Viki will pick up this drama.

Will probably check out She's Pretty but not a fan of Go Jun Hee and i don't like her new hair do, it's super short. She looks better with bob cut.

WTH! Why are people giving this show such a low rating, are those people even watching the drama??? I have been following this drama since ep 1 and this drama quality is unlike other C-dramas and has high production quality. The actors' voices are not dubbed. I am loving the drama so far, the chemistry between the leads, the break-ups and a touch of fashion. The cinematography is well-filmed as well.

Don't discourage from the low rating, everyone has different preference, but this drama doesn't deserve to have such a low rating. Love both Jerry Yan and Jiang Shu Ying even though it's my first time watching the female lead.

I like Park Han Byul, and the synopsis will be super dramatic with a touch of makjang. I am looking forward to it.

That MIL from A Hundred Year's Inheritance is just psycho, i believe this one won't be that evil or at least I hope so. Her character seems really out-going and it seems like she will realize how difficult her mom has it only when she gets married.

I started watching this drama but most of the scenes revolve around protest and I skipped through a lot. Yi Jun needs to realize that Ye Qing cares about her a lot. Yao Yuan has become a typical jackass playboy second lead with his character cheating on Yi Jun and being dishonest.

I remembered watching this drama a few years ago, this drama is a complete makjang with every thing you can think of, birth secret, poor girl rich guy, affair, surrogate mother, evil mother in law, etc. That whole 55eps is a rough ride but i enjoyed watching it.

Yang Yang is such a cutie, I will watch if it airs even though it's very unlikely that it will air this year.

I am really a sucker for dramas like this coz I like My Daughter SeoYoung, New Tales of Gisaeng, Yellow Boots, and now A Hundred Year's Inheritance. Those makjang elements just make you feel addictive to those dramas.
Going back to the review, I think the casts acting is great, I hated Chul Gyu evil MIL, SIL character so much. They are so annoying but it would be boring without them as well. I don't really like how Eugene character is so weak most of the time, she did stand up for herself but still appear so naive and forgiving for me. Regardless, I like the relationship Lee JungJin and Eugene has in this drama.

I recommend you to watch first few eps to see if you are interested. I really enjoyed this drama although Eugene character makes me feel so irritated most of the time. Family dramas like this one are so makjang. With 50 eps, it has other side characters, bird secrets, chaebols, overly excessive character portrayal. If you like watching soap opera, you will like this drama. It gets really good when Eugene finally divorced her first husband and I get to see more of Eugene and Lee Jung Jin romance.

Kim Hae Sook is awesome, she is in so many popular dramas.

I know all the main casts from and I really like Eugene and Lee Sang Woo, so i am going to check this one out. Hopefully the writing is good as well, coz no matter how good the casts are, if the script is bad, the drama becomes so boring.

There is also Choi Jiwoo and Lee Sang Yoon cable drama. I'm looking forward to that one. I am in for I Have a Lover, like the OP, makjang dramas are weirdly addicting! I will probably wait after 2 or 3 months to start watching. Makjang dramas are better of watching all at once.
