Excited for drama version more so than the movie version. Although I like movie version casts with Yang Yang and Liu Yi Fei, it's better to explain the story with 50 eps long rather than 2.5-3 hours movie.
This is so good! Love Tang Yan and Luo Jin couple. So far the pace is not too draggy and not too romance-centric. I can't wait to see more of Wei Young and Tuo Ba Jun scenes <3.

Same thought, Ying Er is not a good actress, as much as i love Wallace, his projects these years don't have a good actress. Fingercrossed that Ying Er isn't that bad in this one.
This post is more than two months old. I hope OP see this, coz if you like Republican era, you should also watch Rookie Agent Rouge. I just recently finished watching. You will definitely love it. It's available on Viki. I wasn't expecting it to be that intriguing but i love watching all 45 ep. The casts are my favorite too, Zhao Li Ying and Lu Yi.
I was really taking time to start this drama, but definitely not disappoint me after watching it. All 4 main leads are great at acting, Lu Yi has become one of my favorite C-actors now. I have always loved Zhao Li Ying.
I am so excited to see Yang Yang with Liu Yi Fei together. The kid that's gonna be in it really look like their kid too. So looking forward to it. Would be nice if they are in drama adaption instead of a movie. So i can watch more episodes with complete story telling. Only into ep 6, but I got hooked since ep 1. This drama has such a high quality. Haven't watched the original but the acting is so on point. Seriously, this drama deserves a high rating. If you are not watching it, you are missing out. I can totally feel all of their characters. Jeon Do Yeon is such a queen. Never knew Yoon Ji Tae can be this sexy. He's so tall and looking smart. There is so much more sexual tension between him and Do Yeon than with Yoon Kye Sung. TVN doesn't disappoint me at all.
Watched up to ep 14. Time for more love triangle as Gao Jia Ming is going to pursue Qiao Fei again once QF and Cheng Jia Ying get really close. I don't know why do Chinese dramas always tend to have around 40 eps. It would have been more solid in terms of characters development and overall storyline if it ends around 24 eps.
