I want to talk so much right now about her situation because I feel too much for her with everything she’s been through but people who don’t get it will never do and I feel sad for those who are just mad because of separation that they fail to think about what she’s actually been through the past. wenyifan’s whole life changed when her father died, she had no one who would hold her or give her a shoulder when things got tough and now people are calling her selfish? in ep 25, her uncle said that if she ever told anyone no one would believe her and it would be humiliating. she was only 17/18 at that time and regardless of that she told the police only for her family to not believe her so how can you expect her inner trauma to assure her sangyan won’t be the same? She knows sangyan loves her but trauma is something else, you can’t let it go so fast… god I could go on and on but it’s hard when the other person just doesn’t want to listen. wenyifan I’ll always be proud of you for living through the dark moments of your life🥺
you know it’s funny when people are bashing on female’s character when her family ✨exists✨. I see so many comments questioning why she ran away today but hardly two or three which talked about her mom and her aunt and the way they treated her when there’s been no reason for them to do this.
I’m seeing comments who are understanding of her situation and I feel so glad to see people empathise with her and understand where she’s coming from. I’ve studied psychology so i believe I have a good insight on this whole situation and it’s important to understand everyone’s pov and wenyifan is one which is just pure heartbreak and trust issues so I can’t wait for her to finally open up to sangyan cause you can’t force someone to open up it comes on their own and seeing the trailer it’s about to happen tomorrow
For the people who’ve seen ep 25 and still questioning why she left sangyan? GOD I totally get it even more now. SA survivors trauma is unlike anything. everyone has different responses to trauma and so does wenyifan, her mom left her she didn’t care about wenyifan even 1% so how can you all expect wenyifan to open to sangyan fully when her own family didn’t believe her? sometimes it’s hard to overcome trauma and you can’t find fault in wenyifan regarding this matter because that girl has been through so much and it’s completely understandable for her to run away. wenyifan my girl I’ll always protect you from everyone😭🥺
I think I can totally understand where wenyifan is coming from. I believe that’s mainly her trauma response. though first time she ran away to protect herself, this time she ran away to protect sangyan. To people saying that shy she didn’t stand up or go to the police, the police would ofcourse ask about what happened in past and seek her mom’s opinion and we all know just like what happened in past her mom would deny anything ever happening between her and her uncle which is why I believe wenyifan didn’t go to the police this time. we must remember she has had no one on her side. I know people are saying she should’ve told sangyan but when your own mother doesn’t believe you it makes you think twice about everything because parents are supposed to love and care for you with selfless intentions which her mom never did with wenyifan. The only thing she knows is to run away to protect herself and now sangyan which she did. let’s not forget they do love each other a lot and we’ve seen from wenyifan inner dialogue how much she loves sangyan and doesn’t want to hurt him but sometimes the voices in your inner head are more strong than what is right. We also saw in ep 24 how sangyan investigated everything which I believe was another reason for the arc. he found out by his own eyes in what conditions she used to live it and seeing something and hearing something are different so now he has a even more clearer idea about what happened. regardless, people can be annoyed at the plot change cause yes it wasn’t fully necessary but again it gives us more insight to wenyifan trauma and how hard it is to overcome it. everyone freaking out over the change in plot whereas I’m seated because if I wanted it to be legit apt to novel I could just reread the novel… I love me some angst🤭
just saw from the trailer of next eps that WYF tells sangyan everything in tomorrow’s ep (ep27) so just need to survive three eps and our babies will be closer than ever🥺
today felt so incomplete without a new episode and now I’m wondering what is gonna happen when this show ends?? why does it have to end, this is so unfair 😭😭
also I would just like to comment about ep 24 preview.. the plot hasn’t changed there’s just been an addition to the plot. if you look at the emoji descriptions of the episodes in the weekly calendar there are still major or main scenes of novel coming up so they haven’t changed the plot at all, they’ve just added something so let’s look forward to the change with a positive outlook✨
