I'm pretty sure that there isn't any process or story behind it. XM and Shi Mei got along because Shi Mei was…
No, his beauty and gentle demeanor was natural, its just he actually wasn't that kind or gentle in personality lol. He was harboring a lot of hatred, and just acting sweet and patient. Look at HBN, he's pretty bitter and terrible. 2.0 Shi Mei is better though.
I'm pretty sure that there isn't any process or story behind it. XM and Shi Mei got along because Shi Mei was…
Oh, so when Shi Mei first joined Sisheng Peak, because his cultivation was pretty low, no elder really wanted him as a student, and then one day when he was walking in the rain, CWN saw him getting wet, so he shared an umbrella with him, and while he was sharing an umbrella, Shi Mei noticed the CWN was making sure that he didn't get wet at all, but CWN's shoulder was drenched, since he tilted the umbrella towards Shi Mei, SM was really moved, and asked CWN if he could be his disciple, and CWN accepted.
Also, he asked CWN what he thought about the Butterfly boned beauty feasts, and CWN said that they were human, which again, really touched SM. He knew that CWN was really really kind, and fell for his goodness, because he had only ever seen terrible people, and CWN was one of the only truly pure people he had met.
Somebody remind me again how XueMeng and Shimei become friends from the very beginning?
I'm pretty sure that there isn't any process or story behind it. XM and Shi Mei got along because Shi Mei was always the mediator for his fights with Mo Ran, plus they had been CWN's only 2 disciples before Mo Ran came along, so they would have been friends at least. Plus Shi Mei's gentle and kind personality (which was fake lol), was compatible with Xue Meng's brash and pompous nature, so I think they were pretty decent friends.
I hope that the rights to this drama are sold to Netflix, so even if something happens in Mainland China, it'll still be available. Like Guardian was taken down, but put back on youtube 2 years later, and then WOH is at risk right now. but it's still on Netflix
I'm so worried. What if the show airing will ruin the two actors' future?
I really don't think it will, unless they have some shady things in their past for antis to dig up and throw at them. And even that has to be something extreme for them to get cancelled. XZ made a comeback because he didn't do anything wrong, it was just the fans and antis. ZZH, unfortunately, had something that really struck the chord of nationalism.
Plus, CFY and LYX are already really popular, unlike the other BL adaptation actors, They already have a strong fanbase, and have been in the industry for a while, which means they know how to handle it, and antis haven't found anything to cancel them all this time.
Look at the actors from Addicted, that was basically super gay, it became really popular, but it didn't completely ruin their careers. They were just banned from appearing on screen together, and the show was taken off air.
HYX isn't even like Addicted, its a censored adaptation. I know it has a lot of antis, but the fanbase is just as strong. As long as the government doesn't intervene and take a side like with ZZH, it won't ruin their careers, even if it is a flop (which it definitely won't be). And for the government to intervene, it would have to be an extreme matter, which HYX won't be.
So don't worry too much. I'm pretty sure it won't affect their careers too much. Sure they will probably face some difficulties, but I don't think it will be terrible. The level of antis is balanced by the popularity and amount of fans
Actually I never understand which one is moran 1.0 or 2.0 or even when you add 0.5 to it😂
1.0 is the Mo Ran is right after he dies, and transmigrates into his 15 year old self. This Mo Ran is basically TXJ in a 15 year old Mo Ran's body. It's actually really funny, because he has the attitude of an Emperor and none of the power, so he's arrogant but can't do anything lmao 1.5 is like the transitional phase, where Mo Ran is discovering that there were a lot of misunderstandings in his past life, and he begins to question why he become the way he did in the past 2.0 is Mo-Zongshi, which is after CWN's death in the 2nd world. This is the adult Mo Ran in the 2nd world who has truly reformed, and become a wonderful person. It's what he would have become without the flower's influence. He still feels a lot of guilt, but he is a really kind person, who finally realizes he has been in love with CWN all this time. 0.5 is Taxian-Jun, the Emperor of the Cultivation world, who has been corrupted and twisted by the flower, to become evil and do terrible things. He commits suicide by drinking poison at the very start of the story, and transmigrates to the 2nd world. He has a love-hate relationship with CWN, but he's very much not in control of himself or emotions because of the flower.
But as CWN said- Mo Ran or Taxian Jun- he loves them both- so do I XD It's even more amazing that CFY has to portray all these complex personalities. I have a lot of respect for him, playing such a complex character
Random question, but which version of Mo Ran is your favorite? Personally, I love 1.0 because he's such a clown, rereading his antics, in the beginning, makes me laugh so hard. If we're all clowns waiting for HYX, Mo Ran 1.0 is the biggest clown of them all lmao
*sighs* well I wasn’t really expecting them to air it anytime soon anyway. I'm just mad about that Qixi festival…
Yeahhh I saw that as well. So this kind of wait is normal even for non BL dramas. Even OOL which is super anticipated is being released only 2 years after filming. So I am actually not expecting HYX at all anymore. If it comes it comes, if it doesnt, well I'll just wait
Tencent released another show. So I think it’s goodbye to immortality. They will either wait until the hype…
*sighs* well I wasn’t really expecting them to air it anytime soon anyway. I'm just mad about that Qixi festival baiting, there's no way they didn't know that the emojis meant Erha. Honestly I'm just gonna wait for next year, this kind of wait is normal with a lot of Cdramas. I'm not sure why they won't release when its literally the most anticipated drama, but maybe thats exactly why. They don't wanna draw too much attention. I just feel so frustrated not knowing anything though.

Really?? I can't think of anything similar to Harry Potter at all. What is it that you find similar?
right? They've got that bit of obsession, insanity , hatred and angst. All the content I would want in a BingJiu story, is there in 2HA. I really want to read a BingJiu 2HA AU fanfic tbh.

Ahaha I guess I don't remember Harry Potter that much to see the similarities, its been a while since I read the books. Tbh, I find 2HA more like SVSS, sort of BingJiu vibes, (except CWN didn't actually wrong MR, it was more misunderstanding ), with the whole hate but "I cannot part from you". But maybe I just feel that way because of the whole Shizun loving agenda going on XD.

Ahhh no lol thats a whole genre in china called Xianxia. This isnt anything like the "magic stuff", of Harry Potter, its a whole system of its own based on chinese mythology and Taoist/buddhist concepts. Like cultivation, flying swords, spells all of these things are xianxia. There's a bunch of novels based on this genre in China, like Soul Land , or Quanzhi Fashi and more. Its an eastern fantasy concept, and it can't really be equated to Harry Potter, which is a Western magic system.
I think unless it’s really that bad or major changes, there won’t be any backlash. Sure, some people won’t…
No, in the book WWX lost control of his powers, which is something that I think was really important in showing how cornered and stressed he felt. I also really didn't like the whole Yin iron addition and having demonic cultivation already exist, because, in the book, WWX is the "grandmaster" of demonic cultivation. And that showed how much of a prodigy WWX was because he invented a whole new branch of cultivation. Also, the character's personalities and relationships are a slightly different in the novel as well. Overall I think it was a pretty decent adaptation given the censors. My favorite is the book, but I did enjoy the Untamed, mainly because of the soundtracks, the costumes/sets, and the actors(XZ won my heart with his performance). Plotwise there were some plotholes, but since I read the novel I didn't mind too much. I can also see why some novel fans would not like the drama though because the drama is a bit of a different story based on the core elements of the novel- but that's why it's called an adaptation ig, there's bound to changes. Hopefully HYX is a good adaptation and is faithful to the core elements of 2HA
honestly, I'm a little afraid of all the hype this drama is getting. With the untamed and word of honor, no one had that much expectations, but it was way better than everyone thought, but with this, everyone is expecting so much, and I'm scared of the backlash it will get if doesn't meet all those standards. obviously, I see why the expectations are so high, costumes, actors, budget everything is top-notch, but with so many eyes on it, there are definitely people who are just waiting to nitpick it. I really want HYX to do well, and I think it definitely will, but I'm also not keeping my expectations very high
