Well, I'm not sure if those views are the reason of "bi-erasure". That word itself is a view on its own BTW, with negative connotations stating that the world is against bi-sexuality, because people feel insecure, or even hostile, towards people who don't "choose sides". This is just another theory, since there is no science or evidence based research on this subject available. Perhaps we should stop with labelling sexuality entirely, it's giving me a headache. Sexuality should be a case between consenting adults, that's all society needs to know, right?

I don't see this as prying, only we get totally off topic now ;-) You're right, he wants an open relationship, but he's a very energetic person if you know what I mean, and somehow he always falls for the more homely type. So his partners mean well, but in the end they get tired. Open relationships are difficult to maintain.

I'm sorry you feel offended. If you would know my friend you would see he isn't a rude person at all, we are just philosophizing about sexuality and his opinion is his own, not a statement.
BTW I have two other male friends who are openly bi-sexual. Both were married once, but are left by their wives . One has turned over to the homosexual side, the other has chosen a new girlfriend, but he is still meeting men. I've known him since university and he has always been that way. I think his problem is not being bizarre, but finding a female partner who can cope with him cruising the streets.
There is absolutely nothing wrong or bad about spaces without womenfolk – nothing WHATSOEVER. Members only……
Naughty naughty. If you mean dark rooms yes please...but BL series? Without women they are just Hallmark movies with too much chocolate cotton candy :D
Trapped, Ossans Love, Pornographer and What Did You Eat Yesterday are all with older charachters. But about female…
Thanks, I've just begun with Pornographer and I'll put What Did You Eat Yesterday on my To Watch List. I loved Ossans Love! Regarding female characters in Thai BL what do you think of Diary of Tootsies? I really liked that lesbian lol. Also I don't want to give the impression that I hate BL series if women are absent. I really liked HIStory 2 Boundary Crossing, because the story was good.

Honestly, I really don't know what to think . My gay friend always says there are no bi-sexuals in the world, only gays who can't accept themselves completely, but I am ready to believe those people. They say they can love anyone whatever gender? Okay, good for them.
The first episodes show me, once again, that female characters are undefined, or almost non-existent in most BL series (Thai productions excluded). This one is a new low. The story goes on very well with yummy men and such...but hey, three brothers... are they all gay?
I understand BL series must meet the need of millions who feel abandoned in a world full of cheesy love scenes between men and women. It was the very reason why I started reading, and watching gay-themed stories myself, since I met a student at university who's gay, he became one of my best friends. I wanted to understand him, share his pain, and passions. It meant no sacrifice on my part really, because we had a good time together with friends in cinemas and clubs, where I could appreciate male bodies as well :)
Now that I'm older I think it would be better if there would be a next generation of BL series that are handled just like any other drama or coming-of-age stories. I think the problem is that most series are based on mangas that are aiming at one-track-needs only, with Ossan's Love as the beautiful exception. I truly wish there will be more series like that. Sorry for my rant, perhaps someone knows other good examples, and still...nothing wrong with TharnType Series now and then.
It was so funny, and typically Korean for Bong to declare he would drink until the next morning to celebrate his Oscars for the Best Original Screenplay and International Feature Film, and that was even before he got the Oscars for Best Director and Best Picture.
Poor girl, look no further, check out My Girlfriend is an Alien, you won't regret it. This show has everything you're asking for, humor, pretty faces, and a pretty weird story that will make you laugh and cry.
Wow, I love this series already, brings back King2Hearts memories. The only thing I don't like is the old fashioned timing at Netflix. I'm used to binge watching now. I've almost forgotten When The Camellia Blooms, it's taking too long.
Agreed on the points you mention about the story, the main actors, the music, but...belief it or not... I was still enchanted by this movie: * a beautiful cinematography * great action scenes, hi-tech filmed at the time * notable roles from the supporting cast. I loved the natural acting of Ahn Sung Ki as the veteran Korean fighter and the brooding Mongol general, played by Chinese actor Yu Rong Guang. I guess I will never understand myself, since a lousy script or annoying FL/ML is usually enough for me to drop the whole project lol
Thanks for your review, it pretty much sums up everything I wanted to comment myself. As an avid movie fan I was mesmerized by Musa The Warrior. Watching the realistic action scenes, the beautiful cinematography meant a turning point for me. Ever since I became hooked to Korean movies and historical k drama. Which other movies are in your top 3 btw?
If he wanted to copy Tarantino he failed, to me that seemed more a parody (tarantino is my favourite director…
Agreed, and I'm a fan of Mr.Tarantino as well. I'm not sure this was meant as a parody, and I assume this will be a one time failure. Yes, Thai series are more western orientated than other Asian series, but I like the ethnic twists :))
