Yeah, all these actors are looking more and more like sculptures from the time they start their acting career.…
To look more caucasian. Korean plastic surgeon Dr Kim Byung-gun stated in an interview with CNN: "The Chinese and Korean patients tell me that they want to have faces like Americans. The idea of beauty is more westernized recently. They don't like big cheekbones or small eyes. They want to have big, bright eyes with slender, facial bones." So, if I would be a member of the so-called "Publicity Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China" I would rather ban tv series with transformed white Chinese than episodes with BL scenes :P
Is it just me or is our ML Luo Yun Xi getting more sickly and skinnier with every appearance? Whatever happened to his beautiful face since My Sunshine? He's such a good actor, but now I find myself distracted, out of worry. I know he's not the only Chinese actor who falls into the trap of orthorexia, whitening creams and plastic surgery, but still, when will this kind of self-abuse stop? What's wrong with an Asian face anyway. Really, I'm quite relieved when I see a real face, and color, like that of SML Zhou Ting Wei.
Rewatching this drama, again having the feels and tears at some scenes, but I still don't understand the first part. The reincarnation of WWX' soul in someone else's body. Why did he still look the same? He should have been another person, right?
@Yenki @ethidda thank you for your reply! I see this series is not generally liked, so I've decided to wait some…
Thanks for your consideration haha. Glad you’re also a fan of The Untamed . Regarding Arthur Chen: he was the natural embodiment of young Ning Que in Evernight at seventeen. Now it’s up to him to become a better actor, and failures are the best way to learn.

Thank you, thank you for all this information. You can post me anytime like this :P Same here, I also held back from watching the Untamed due to the overhype and now I’m on cloud nine somewhere floating above The Lotus Dock of Jun Meng Yang.
Is this worth watching? Saw some clips today, but I got this gut feeling something is missing...
@Yenki @ethidda thank you for your reply! I see this series is not generally liked, so I've decided to wait some time. Right now I've just finished The Untamed, which really has a "smart story with actual intrigue" (quote Ethidda) I think I'm gonna rewatch that drama first, before looking further. I'm still filled to the brim with emotion lol

I love him in The Romance of Tiger and Rose though
- Simple enough story to follow.
- Some squeal-worthy and funny moments are a must-have.
- Good chemistry between leads.
....I would recommend:
* Queen of the Ring
* Sweet Revenge
* Mengfei Comes Across
* Go Princess Go
* Fake Phoenixes
Enjoy!
