Thanks for your response!! I actually agree with you on some things. I know Kuea has his reasons for lying. He thinks he won't be accepted and that his family and Lian won't approve. And I'm not saying he is wrong for thinking that way. I actually think he's an adult so it shouldn't matter what his hobbies are and he shouldn't have to tell. But my issue with it is that he didn't think it through thoroughly. I mean it is his parents and his fiancee. Would he be able to lie and keep it hidden from them forever? It is very unlikely. He would end up with 3 options 1) either try to lie and pretend to be someone else forever and probably be unhappy. 2) Get caught and have to explain why he lied or 3) Come clean and still have to explain why he did it. Lying may work for now but not for long term, but clearly Kuea didn't think about that. And his parents aren't as controlling as they seem. Because and they even showed this in the series when Kuea said he wanted to stay in Thailand and finish school instead of going back to the states they let him and said they would respect what he wanted. And they even told him he could study whatever he wanted. If they were really that controlling they would have made him go back to the states and they would make sure he was studying what they wanted him to study. They literally told him he could study whatever he wanted but he still lies to them about what he is studying. Why, when he has their permissions to study what he wants?

But you are right about Lian having the upper hand and having information that Kuea doesn't and can't get. He absolutely should have talked to Kuea about everything instead of acting like he knows nothing. He wants Kuea to be open and honest with him, but he can't expect that when he isn't open and honest with Kuea either. And even though some of the things he does is actually good it seems bad because he is secretive and sneaky and doesn't tell Kuea anything. Communication is key and he is definitely lacking that. He needs to talk to Kuea about everything and work through the issues. But it seems he is realizing that he needs to be open and honest and earn Kuea's trust so he will feel comfortable enough and be willing to open up. Because he told Hia Yi in episode 7 that he needs to open up and let Kuea in his world and know the real him first f he wants Kuea to open up to him. That will be good and i hope he does that. Not that it will fix all the issues but it will be a start. You are right this is different from the novel which is aggravating and upsetting to me. I understand they may need to cut out some parts to make it fit in the time and episodes. But they are leaving out important things and changing things to the point that it is confusing and doesn't make sense. They should at least make it make sense. There are 4 episodes left and I'm not sure what they can or will do with the story in those episodes. But I'm hoping they can somewhat turn it around.

I don't know what spoilers you have seen but according to the novel Lian's only secrets are that he knows about Kuea's secrets and the thing with the Keerati properties. Unless i somehow missed something but as far as i know that is it. And Kuea now knows that Lian knows some of his secrets because of that night when they first kissed. And the properties Lian isn't doing anything dirty or shady he is actually helping. Kuea's parents know and are involved in it. They are having financial troubles facing bankruptcy and was about to lose all of their properties. So they sold them to Lian. The money he paid them for the properties can help with their financial situation and when/if him and Kuea get married the Keerati properties would belong to Kuea. Lian could actually sign them over to Kuea at any time but Kuea's parents want Lian to wait until they are married. They are also the reason Kuea doesn't know about it. They don't want him to know because they don't want him to be worried or stressed so they want to wait until the problem is fixed before telling him. And since Lian isn't technically family yet he is respecting Kuea's parents wishes because he also doesn't want Kuea to worry.

And everyone talks about how bad Lian is but honestly it all started with Kuea lying, hiding things and sneaking around. He has not only been lying and having a secret identity with Lian but also his parents. They knew or suspected that he was lying and hiding stuff because he was always sneaking out and never telling where he was going and what he was doing. And Lian knew if he confronted Kuea he would probably just keep lying instead of tell the truth. So that is why he was keeping tabs on Kuea to find out what he was sneaking around for, hiding and lying about. Of course Kuea is an adult so he should be allowed to do whatever and not have to tell but Kuea's dad is a diplomat and they were a powerful family "before the financial issues". What Kuea was hiding and sneaking around for could have been something that would have looked bad on the family and their reputation, thus the surveillance. Then he manipulated Kuea to move in with him as a way to try and get Kuea to confess his secrets. Cause if they live together Kuea can't lie and hide forever right? Does that make the surveillance and manipulation right? Of course not. But Kuea was also trying to manipulate Lian and his parents into believing he was someone he is not. His manipulation didn't work because Lian found out. But just because his manipulation failed doesn't make it any less wrong that he tried. He was lying,deceiving and trying to manipulate the man he said he loved the man he was supposed to marry. And Lian's reaction was to also be sneaky and manipulative. Not trying to defend Lian's actions because they were wrong, just saying Kuea wasn't innocent either. No matter what his reasons were deceiving and manipulating Lian and his parents was wrong. Just as Lian's deception and manipulation is wrong. They both were wrong, Lian should have just told Kuea he knew about his secrets, or better yet confronted him and gave him a chance to come clean before keeping tabs on him. And Kuea should have been honest about his real self instead of trying to trick Lian into loving a fake version of himself. Then getting mad because Lian doesn't love him but why would he want him to love a fake Kuea instead of the real one? Because what happens if Lian falls in love with the fake version? Then Kuea would have to be that version forever and never be his real self. Or what else could he do? Get tired of lying and pretending to be someone else one day and finally come clean and say hey Lian i've been lying and tricked you into loving a fake version of me but now i want you to love the real me? He should have just given Lian the opportunity from the beginning to love the real him, but he didn't. They both have lied,deceived and manipulated, when they both should have just been honest. But honesty and communication isn't either of their strong points.

Of course a lot of this stuff wasn't clearly explained or explained at all in the series. So it just makes Lian out to be the only bad guy when in fact Kuea has his fault and part in it too. But of course i think people also give Kuea a pass just because his manipulation didn't succeed so he isn't as bad as Lian.

He didn't mean the kiss was linked to him asking Kuea to move in. He meant everything that Kuea had been hiding was linked to him asking Kuea to move in. That's why when Kuea asked why he didn't say anything Lian said he wanted to wait till Kuea was ready to tell him about everything. Because that same night as that kiss was when Lian found out about Kuea being Kirin and about Kuea's secret house "as far as Kuea knows". Because Lian found Kuea at the bar where he performed as Kirin and took Kuea home to his secret house. Once Kuea realized that it was Lian he then knew that Lian knew about some of his secrets. So he was asking Lian why didn't he say anything not just about the kiss but about finding out the secrets as well. Lian used the fact of knowing Kuea's secrets as a way to get Kuea to move in with him. His thinking was if they lived together Kuea wouldn't be able to keep hiding it and would have to come clean. But i agree that Lian should have just been honest and told him it was him that night and he knew about Kuea's secrets instead of playing games and manipulation. But in all honesty Kuea was trying to be manipulative too by trying to make Lian believe that he is a way that is completely different from the real him. Just because Kuea's manipulation didn't succeed because Lian found out doesn't make it any less bad that he tried.

They both should have been honest with each other from the start. No lying, no secrets, no games and no manipulation. But honesty and communication is clearly neither of their strong suits. And as far as Lian and the money/property situation, he isn't involved in that alone. So that isn't entirely his fault for not telling Kuea about that. And i have noticed that Kuea acts completely different around his friends than Lian. But that's the whole secret identity. He wants Lian to think he is this innocent, perfect, polite always obeys person who doesn't do anything that might be considered wild or rebellious. Not sure how that says more about Lian than it does Kuea though since it is Kuea who decides to act that way in front of Lian just because he thinks that is the kind of person Lian wants him to be. But how can he know that Lian won't accept the real him if he doesn't let Lian know the real him. Plus their is the fact that he doesn't just behave that way in front of Lian but also his parents. But of course they haven't really explained that in the series but in the novel he has a secret identity from his parents as well as Lian he presents the same identity to his parents as Lian and only acts like his real self in front of his friends. So that can't really say more about Lian than it does Kuea when he behaves the same with his parents. What that says is that Kuea has insecurities and believes the real him won't be accepted by both Lian and his parents so he pretends to be someone else. And since he is the heir to a powerful family and the son of a diplomat he is worried that his real self won't live up to the expectations that are required of him.

Yeah they announced that Cutie Pie wouldn't air because of Songkran. They will air a behind the scenes instead of an actual episode.

Cutie Pie airs on Saturday and it isn't airing this week because of Songkran, It's odd that something that airs on Friday isn't affected but something that airs on Saturday is. But oh well, at least we still get SCOY this week.

Yes doing that in front of your crush is one thing. But this is completely different he is supposed to marry Lian. If they get married is he going to be able to lie, hide and pretend forever? It's not very likely. Very unlikely as well that he will be able to hide it from his parents forever. I know that as the heir of the Keerati family there are probably expectations but all his lies and secrets will come out eventually. So all the lying and hiding is pointless. So yes i agree with you he has taken it too far.

And also Lian and Kuea's family call him naughty not because of the things he does/likes to do. But because they know he is lying, sneaking and hiding things. As you said he is an heir. The son of a diplomat and a powerful family and there are expectations. They won't to make sure that whatever he is hiding and sneaking around and doing isn't something that will bring shame and disgrace to his family and ruin their reputation, therefore the surveillance. Of course i'm not saying that the surveillance is right because it isn't.

And yes we know that Lian knows so we know that Kuea can't actually manipulate Lian. But Kuea doesn't know that. And just because his manipulation won't work doesn't make the fact that he is trying right. Whether it works or not it is still wrong to try. He doesn't think Lian loves or will love the real him and let's face at as mean as the "I DON'T LOVE YOU" from Lian was Kuea already felt that way before Lian ever said that. From the very beginning of the very first episode Kuea was already lying and hiding who he really is. He already thought that Lian wouldn't like/love the real him and the "I DON'T LOVE YOU" made it worse. But he thought/thinks that Lian won't love the real him so he lies and pretends to be a different version a so called perfect version that he thinks Lian will love. He is tricking Lian "or trying to since Lian already knows the truth" into loving a fake version of himself. And trying to trick and manipulate someone into loving you is not right. If you want someone to love you, really love you, you have to show them the real you.

But of course Lian is worse and his secrets and manipulations will be revealed. But some of them such as the properties are not shady and not what they seem. I'm not trying to defend Lian though, he has done and said questionable things. Telling Kuea he doesn't love him and calling him a doll, no matter what Kuea didn't deserve that. And the surveillance and manipulating Kuea to move in with him and trying to manipulate and force Kuea to come clean are all wrong. He should just talk to Kuea tell him he knows everything and found out why Kuea felt like he needed to lie and hide it. Or better yet he should have told him from the start that he knew Kuea was hiding something and give Kuea a chance to tell him before the surveillance. And he should have talked to Kuea about the properties but that's not all his fault Kuea's parents are to blame in that as well.

I wish they both would have communicated and been honest with each other, instead of all the lying, secrets and manipulation. But of course if they had then wouldn't have the drama and can't have that lol!! But i understand your point of view and outlook as well. Thanks for sharing.

He is buying the properties for Kuea when they get married they will still belong to Kuea. He is supposed to sign them over to Kuea.

It's not that Lian doesn't like that version of Kuea. He dislikes that Kuea was lying and hiding the real him and having this double life. Saying he didn't want to marry a doll was a way for him to try and get Kuea to drop the fake Kuea and be his real self. Lian really does love Kuea and will love either version of Kuea but he knows that the version he sees isn't the real Kuea. He doesn't want Kuea to change himself just to try and make Lian happy, he wants Kuea to be happy. And Kuea won't be truly happy being a fake version of himself. So it isn't that Lian is just now okay with it. He has always been ok with any version of Kuea he just wants Kuea to be his true self.

Well that may be true but isn't Kuea a little shady himself? I mean he has been literally lying to Lian and his parents from the beginning about his entire life. Shows them a fake version of himself, but then wants and expects Lian to love this fake version. So basically he wanted Lian to love a lie. Only Kuea's friends know the real version of him or at least that's what he thinks. But Lian knows all these things about Kuea and doesn't care he just wants Kuea to be honest about it. Granted Lian trying to manipulate Kuea into telling the truth is wrong he should have just told him he knows the truth instead of playing these games with Kuea.

Kuea lied because he thought Lian wouldn't accept or love the real him. But now that he finally got an "I Love You" from Lian now he is scared if Lian finds out all the lies he told "Kuea's words" that Lian won't love him anymore. Well guess what the truth always comes out eventually so it is inevitable that Lian will find out eventually "if he didn't already know". Just as Kuea will find out about what Lian has been hiding/lying about. So why lie in the first place because naturally anyone would be mad/upset if you lie to them rather than just telling the truth. And in the trailer there is a scene not shown in the series yet where Kuea asks Lian how can he really love him and how can they get married when Lian doesn't know the real him. But who's fault is it that Lian doesn't know the real him it's Kuea's he is the one that has lied and hidden everything about his real self but then gets upset that Lian doesn't know the real him. But he won't know the real him unless Kuea shows it to him. What does he expect? And Kuea lying and trying to make Lian believe that he is different from what he really is, is also manipulation. He is trying to manipulate Lian into believing he is this fake version. So how is that not shady?

Yes i will agree other things that Lian has done and said have been questionable, shady and wrong. I don't agree with the "I don't love you" from the first episode or him calling Kuea a doll Annabelle. Yes he finally apologized for these things but he should have done that sooner. And his explanation was bad. And him keeping tabs on Kuea BAD although i know why he does it and he doesn't mean it in a bad way but it does come off as bad and shady and creepy. And having Kuea move in with him was a manipulation to try to force Kuea to admit to all his lies and secrets. Because how can he keep doing all those things and lying when living with Lian right? And Kuea's parents were in on that Kuea's mom told him to move in with Lian. But it was wrong if he wanted to live with Kuea he should have talked to him nicely and live with him because he really wants to not as a way of manipulation. But again i repeat Kuea is also manipulating Lian "or trying to". Until he comes clean about his lies and his real self then he is indeed trying to manipulate Lian. So how is it that Lian always gets called out but never Kuea? They are both guilty of manipulating each other, lying and keeping secrets from each other. But Lian is the only one that gets bashed for it. Why? Because he is older and should no better? Kuea is an adult and should also know better. But they both have their reasons for their secrets and lies. And Lian although he looks shady Kuea's parents have been involved in some of these things with him such as getting Kuea to move in with him and also the thing with the properties. Kuea's parents are involved and have not told Kuea either and is part of the reason Lian hasn't told. So i guess it makes his parents shady too. They both have their part to play in this mess and they both are guilt in their own way. But of course that is just my opinion. Anyways... sorry for rambling so long.

Kuea's parents know about Lian buying the properties and are involved in it and are also part of the reason he hasn't told Kuea. The parents haven't said anything to Kuea about it either so it isn't just Lian. All of this will be revealed soon. I admit it looks shady right now but of course they will make it look that way for drama. And of course some of the things Lian has previously said and done were questionable and makes him look shady. But in this situation he actually isn't shady but actually doing a good thing. But it will cause conflict with Kuea because no one told him.

He's actually not shady though. Kuea's parents know everything he is doing with the properties they are involved in it. They don't want Kuea knowing because they don't want him to worry. But they still should tell him instead of keeping it from him because it will cause misunderstandings. The truth will be revealed soon about that.

Yes I'm sure you are right. I don't think Nuea would get angry with Toh. And of course with a new relationship they will need some adjustments.

Loved today's episode!! The Nuea Toh make out session in the car Whoa!! and Toh cracked me up when he called Nuea his wifey, but Nuea saying he was ok with being the wifey i was really impressed. He doesn't care what role or position he just likes Toh and wants to be with him.

Jao is finally getting close to accepting Sky after all of Sky's efforts. When he called Sky his boyfriend to be from the other side of the door i screamed with Sky!!

And Daisy and Touch what can i say they are so cute. I love that Touch knows Daisy's pronouns and addresses her by them properly. And the way he treats her like a lady. I love the way he looks at her and smiles at her you can tell he really likes her and she likes him too. The way she was smiling and held up the symbol for I Love You when she was in the car. My heat fluttered with these two.

But the preview for next week however has me a little sad. The comment made by Sky's friends about Jao. And it looks like Nuea and Toh have their first fight because Toh doesn't introduce Nuea as his boyfriend. But why though? He has liked Nuea for a long time and Nuea likes him and is now his boyfriend. That should be like a dream come true for Toh he should be shouting it from the rooftops. I know he isn't ashamed of Nuea but i'm sure there is some reason. Maybe he is worried about Nuea getting bullied or made fun of for dating him? I really don't know but guess we will find out next week. I hope the fight and issue is resolved in the same episode so we can get back to more sweet and funny moments. And not sure what is with Sky's friends but I'm sure he won't let them be mean to Jao. I am so anxious for next week already.
