HaoDu had the chance to capture ChangGe but he let her go. ChangGe can be harmless now but she still have reason to harm the emperor. The minister see ChangGe as a threat because ChangGe family died. Even though HaoDu change ChangGe, he is the only one who did not wound her. Shuyin and Wulei shot arrow at her :)
If we replace ChangGe with Khatun, I am sure a lot of people will be mad at Leyan for protecting Khatun and praising HaoDu for chasing Khatun. Both characters has legitimate reason to act their way. ChangGe and Khatun to avenge family death as well as minister and HaoDu to protect emperor.

I think Hao Du's relationship with Leyan started to "change" when she was not afraid of him (Hao Du was even surprised). Hao Du is feared by everyone and nobody dared to challenge him or talk back to him. When Leyan started to challenge and talk back to him, Leyan was able to give new perspective to him other than his father's voice. He started to get more human emotion from Leyan's influence.
ChangGe is a threat and HaoDu will follow his father order. HaoDu betrayed Leyan is the same way as Leyan betrayed HaoDu by stopping/protecting ChangGe (enemy). Khatun is an example of ChangGe trying to avenge family death. Minister has the right to protect emperor the same way ChangGe and Khatun have the right to avenge.

I think if the writer showed how the ChangGe family died, the audience will be against and cursing ChangGe for trying to kill or overthrow the emperor. Du Ruhui is trying to avoid ChangGe to become Khatun. It is just show the writer show the story. I am guessing right now based on comment that LSM was one of the greatest emperor.

I was so focused on 2nd lead couple until leyan slapped hao do. I was so upset and stopped watching. My interest for drama went down. I still have to rewatch the new engsub and raw. If it was not for haodu, leyan will be lost somewhere because shuyu is useless. If leyan is not princess, hao do would care less about her or hurt her so bad. The slap turned me against leyan a little bit.
I do get some interest for 1st lead after watching Asun emotion for ChangGe by rescuing her from Khan and SheEr.

I thought those khans died in battle/war. She was married again not to be widow.

I did not watch "the untamed" nor "nirvana in fire". You try looking some ost, preview, trailer to get an idea. I was hooked when I saw trailer and dilraba. It felt little confusing in the beginning trying to figure who are main names, characters, titles, places, etc. It got really interesting after ep6-7. If you are not interested after ep8-10, you might not like it.

I think if she told ASun then Asun will not let her go back or talk her to change mind. ChangGe already told Asun not to get involved and he still saved her. Not explaining to Asun and running back feels pointless because Asun understand what ChangGe wants to do and she also told him to stay away.

Asun would still get hurt for letting ChangGe stay in the khan and sheer after saving her.

kowtowing is a huge sign of pride, respect, and reputation. High rank and loyal people will not kowtowing for any reason. You will hardly see king kowtowing to anyone. Or general kowtowing to civilian or army. For Alir case, she did not want Asun getting humiliated by She'Er. Kowtowing can cost life back them.

I think Changge felt hopeless and useless when her family died. She did not want the same fate for the general who was loyal to his father. The general killed himself but Changge's conscious does not feel guilty because she tried to save him.

I was expecting to hit 10+ billion by now. I did not read the manhua but dilraba and trailer were reason for me to wait for this drama since last year. The drama has a lot of known cast and good stories.
