I understand your point, I think some viewers wanted JX to explicitly say "I'm sorry". When she basically just "acknowledged" her mistake. But I think it's just her way of apologizing (which again, some viewers might not agree). This is similar to when they first had a misunderstanding, she said that she should also have reached out to him first and not just wait for HT to call her.
