My Roommate Is a Gumiho Episode 16

The end gave us the truth behind the Gumiho becoming a human. It isn't the marble, but rather it is having a mindset of a human. As the Gumiho had lived hundreds of years, life became boring and meaningless. But the moment he found The Reason to live, he learned how to love and sacrifice, he became human. Hyeri delivered. She is actually the center of this drama, as most of the conflicts centers on her. Ji Yong is ok. Only in the end do we see his emotions because only then he felt the desperation.

This episode is a mix of many happy moments, of anger, of love, of joy, of revenge and of revelations. Kang Tae Oh and Kim Se Jeong went through quite a rollercoaster of emotions and I love them.

This episode has so much romance, so much honest confession for both Gang and Dal. I love these characters, who stand for truth and justice. I wonder what is the true color of the king now that the Left State Councilor has been arrested? And what more tricks does he has up his sleeve? And what about his daughter, does she also have a hand in the Jimjo conspiracy? Five more episodes and there can be more twists and turns in the story, but I hope there are no more body swaps

At first, I thought this episode would be dragging, but it has a lot of twists and turns. We can see that the Crown Prince is no longer afraid of the Left State Minister. I just wonder, how can the Left State Minister hold much power that even the King is controlled by him. What could his hold be? A lovely ending to finally hear Gang confess his true feeling to Dal.

Kang Tae Oh really need to do extra effort to portray Dal, for it is not really his natural way of talking and acting. Whereas Se Jeong did great in portraying the serious Gang. I am glad that by the end of this episode, they are back in their own bodies without the need to pretend.

Now the switch happened and to figure out how to get back to their own bodies become chaotic hahaha ... love how Tae Oh tried to be in character as Dal, that is not an easy task. For SeJeong, to be serious is also not we are used to. But I love these two actors, they bring in so much life into the drama. Waiting for the next episodessssssssss soon!!!!

a rush of emotions among the characters - I can see that for both Tae Oh and Sejeong. But I find the second FL does not carry much emotion in her face, it is the same look, whether she be angry or desperate or jealous, has any one coached her? Can't wait for the next episode to finally see what the two leads will do as they find their souls swapped. yay

All along we thought they won't see each other again, yet again they met for Dal to take care of an injured Crown Prince. We see how conflicted Dal yet she is moved to help him. And the ending of this episode speaks volume... " I did not catch you, you caught me. Now you have to protect me and that is an order." (paraphrased only) From this moment there is a sense of responsibility/accountability to each other.
