This is only a 16-episode drama not 50 episodes. Writer should not write in the character Sang Do at all. It is a sheer waste of time. His screentime should be given to Jin Dal & ex-husband and Hae Dal & daughter & Dolphin guy.
I just want to put in a short and sweet post that I am enjoying the show a lot and look forward to the new episodes each time. I do not wish to over analyze like some posters have done today with 2000++ word essays. I find the show entertaining and love the production and acting, which is what I am looking for. Nothing more, nothing less.
Unpopular opinion: but I can't hate ML's dad. I understand his grudge is illogical and kind of selfish, but then again he lost his loved one and that wouldn't happen if FL's mother didn't insist. So being human it's natural to put the blame. I know his actions are wrong but I can't hate him. I feel sad for him. The same to true for FL's mom. She is been suffering from guilt for a long time!
Idk about y'all, but I think we need more people like the FL in real life. She thoroughly reflects upon herself first before completely judging the assistant, and considers that she might have unintentionally hurt her. If more people were that considerate and self-observant, the world would be a better place. But at the same time, her character is way too naive for her own good. She didn't even seem to realize that her "connections" were just people who got close to her because of her status. It's quite unrealistic that someone so innocent could climb to the top of the social ladder in the first place.
watched the first 6 episodes and feel meh about it. the only thing i definitively like is the cinematography and setting. genuinely such a beautifully shot drama. the plot and characters, however, are not really clicking with me. this is supposed to be a 'healing' show, and while i don't doubt that's what it could be for some people, all it does for me is raise my blood pressure out of frustration, ironically enough. i think i'll watch episodes 7-8, and if i still don't feel too great halfway through the show, then i'll drop it.
I find it hard to believe that such a big and successful company/family are so dumb and easily manipulated how have they gotten this far.
