I really enjoyed the show, but I have like one really dumb question before I'm fully satisfied. How did In Soo know who Sang Yi was? He always talks as if he's known Sang Yi for a super long time, but Sang Yi seems to not know him.
This is such a simple story, yet something about it is so charming. Maybe its the fact that the main couple are so eager and earnest in their love, and that the female lead can think and act for herself. Overall, I really enjoyed this show, the comments really put me off from watching this. Now, I totally regret not watching it earlier. Can't wait to see the remakes!
May I know why do you feel uncomfortable? Because you think this is BL? The man likes another man?
LOL the line is really iconic.
I do actually feel a bit unfomfortable tho, not cuz this is a BL (hardcore BL fan here) but because it seems like the FL (can I even call him/her/they the FL LMAOOOO)... the chef stuck in the queen's body... doesn't like guys. Like at all. Not even a tinyyyy bit, he seems to be 100% straight, not a single drop of LGTBQ+ going on in his brain LMAO so it'd feel a bit wierd to me if he suddenly fell for the king since he seems so sure of his sexual identity.
After watching e1 and e2, I actually liked the drama. It seemed pretty cliche but I was in the mood for some cliche misunderstandings, etc. e3 and e4 were defiantly messy and I can see why people didn't like them. But I'm sure that some people did like them. After e3 and e4 I took break until the whole thing was done airing. Now...e5-e12 is def where people started dropping this like rocks and I totally get why they did. It was just back and forth, full of frustrations. But at the same time... the side couples carried the show and the message that the main couple tried to give (although they failed miserably lmao) was a nice message. You need to love yourself first before you can love others. e13-e15 were def the most cliche episodes of the drama but they were better than the rest. e16 was surprisingly not that bad.
Overall, this really isn't as bad as the comments are making them out to be. It's not the best drama in the world either, but just give it a chance if you feel like it!
I'm scared to start. But at the same time I want to start purely cuz of the scary comments xD
No... I'm not a bot sending you to a fishy website xD
