My first Kdrama, that got me into all of this is Alice, and my first Cdrama is Love is Sweet.

I've watched a lot of really good Kdramas but I prefer Cdramas overall. I am really excited for all the new costume dramas to release, I think 2023 and 2025 have the BEST costume Cdramas.  I also write quite a lot of reviews and they tend to be long, I try to make them short but then I end up ranting or just obsessing over the plot/characters. 

I usually send quite a few friend requests to people if I see their comments or profile page and like their recommendations on their page. So here are a few of mine. (Rating system below). 

(Most of these have my favourite trope which is an anti hero main lead). I'll also recommend anything from this list:

Fall In Love (2021) (My Review) My favourite historical drama + trope.	Legend of the Female General (2025) (My Review) My favourite novel to drama adaptation,  it is even better than the novel.	Story of Kunning Palace (2023) My favourite costume with my favourite trope: 2 red flags = green flag couple	Legally Romance (2023) (Review) My favourite modern drama. Great casting, acting and especially the writing.
Lost Romance (2020) (My Review) My favourite Tdrama and cross-dimension dramas.	Summer's Desire (2010) (My Review)  This is the drama I am most obsessed with and my favourite trope. Chinese version was also good, but this is a billion times better.	Rainless Love in a Godless Land (2021) (My Review) A rollercoaster of emotions and twists.	Dear X (2025) (My Review) The only true villain main character on this list. A truly unique FL, I LOVED her.
The King in Love (2017)  My favourite Korean historical.SPOILER: FL ends up with the SML (my ship)	Read, Set, Love (2024) The only Thai drama I gave a 10/10. Very different to other Thai dramas, likely because it is a Netflix drama.	Born Again (2020) My favourite Korean melodrama with just about everything.	Last Friends (2008) A drama about an extremely toxic relationship, unrequited love and friendship. AMAZING acting from Nishikido Ryo

My favourite movies:

Novoland: The Castle in the Sky - Time Reversal (2020)  (My Review) By far my favourite Asian movie.  It was AMAZING in EVERY aspect: Cinematography, acting, script, etc. Highly recommend this movie if you like fantasy. Not a huge fan of movies because they seem too short and rushed, but this had the perfect pace and a lot of in-depth plot.

My Rating System (I rate really harshly and based on the plot first then the acting):

• 9 .5 - 10 = Perfect (everything was perfect: Plot + Pacing + Acting + Characters, I rarely give this)
• 8 - 9 = Loved almost everything (usually let down by the side characters. This is: Plot + Pacing + Acting).
• 7 = Average (didn't love or hate anything, good enough to complete without skipping too much)
• 5 - 6.5 = Skipped through it because it had some decent plot lines.
• Below 5 = Somehow completed the drama, hoping that it will get better but it doesn't
