unfortunately because of the release schedule this drama got a lot of hate. instead of releasing two ep a week they only released one and I think twice they skipped a week of release (at least once they did) so the episodes kept getting dragged out and I think a lot of people might've dropped it cause of that too.
as someone who read the webtoon when it had originally released and had been waiting years for this dramas release (and even a big fan of the two leads) I was plenty okay with waiting, but I understand why others were too frustrated.
whoever was broadcasting did this show dirty otherwise I'm sure the rating would be much higher cause the story was good and their chemistry was amazing!

if they had cut out half the stuff in S2 and introduced neohumans instead while also keeping most of the attention on characters we know AND love, while introducing a few others to move the story along, then this third season could've been even stronger cause they'd have the time and space to explain the big story they tried to turn sweet home into. for example, I liked the story line created by adding yi-su's character but dr. Lim and all the random people in the stadium were so annoying to me. why did they give them two seasons when a lot of the characters we knew and that made this show a success either died or got pushed to the side?? the only ones that actually stayed consistent were eun-yu and sang-uk (well the actor anyway), because eun-hyeok disappeared for more than a season and hyeon-su was gone for half of S2. i still "liked" S3 but that's mostly cause of how bad S2 was. at least for me, I'm satisfied with the ending, but I wish there was a better build up to it. unfortunately this season wasn't good enough for me to forgive season 2.

she was my favorite character in S1!! but also it makes sense she wasn't in S3 cause she died at the beginning of S2

in general I like the manhwa better, but also (mini spoiler?) S2 and S3 are not part of it, they were made up entirely for the show

it threw me off too that they changed it, I wish they'd left it at 40, also if I may recommend, my favorites have been when I fly towards you, hidden love, put your head on my shoulder and the double (im still watching it but im in the last episodes so I'm including it)

I think there's also a difference between a good drama and a good remake. personally, I loved A time called you, but I didn't watch the original so my view is gonna be different from someone who did. I think any time someone is familiar with the original, it's hard not to be skeptical/worried about new adaptations. especially because adaptations can influence whether or not people want to see the original also. my point being, I'm with you on being worried, go ahead was a great story and I'm afraid of them rushing through or changing too much of it :((

whaaaat, that's actually crazy, I don't know their real ages and assumed they were around the same age. at the very least I think they did a great job with the chemistry that age shouldnt matter here (okay I looked it up, and he's A LOT younger than I expected! and shes actually a couple years older than I thought but not surprising)

I've been thinking about those that didn't debut A LOT (namely yuju and fuko) and I hope those that didn't get into izna are able to debut and if I had a hand in making new groups I would put Yuju, Yui, Juwon, Sujeong and LingLing in a group and then Fuko, Gyuri and Minsol in another group (with more members I just havent looked closely enough at how other contestants improved before leaving the show) but happy for izna members!! (especially Sarang!!)

oh! I didn't realize family by choice was coming out so soon! I've been watching the original cdrama (go ahead) in anticipation. I hope this remake does the original justice!

why can't they all debut? 😭 they're all so good! seeing so many of them really grow - Gyuri who I was not paying enough attention to before, Koko who I'm so glad to see her hard work being recognized, and Jiyoon who's matured so much!! I wish all of them the best (especially my personal favorites from day 1: Sarang and Yuju 💜 and also especially to Juwon for being underappreciated especially recently 🥺)

I really loved this one!! I know a lot of people complain about the end, and I get it, but it didn't ruin it for me. I still found it realistic, I just wish it didn't stress me so much TT

wow it was complete opposite for me haha I thought the last episode was the most captivating. I will agree that for most dramas that's not the case though

you were right, he is Korean. the fans were calling him oppa and holding signs in Korean. plus the guy that called the friend to return the phone was speaking in Korean which is why they couldn't understand him. I thought the name was just Han Chang which could be Korean, but maybe he's half Korean and half Chinese and uses both names, which is why Zheng and Han? either way, I don't think it's a real idol :)

thank you! I was wondering the same cause i found four sources that had 40 ep. uploaded but mdl (and two of those same sources) said it had 46. glad it's not missing 6 ep, I was worried of having an unfinished ending

wait me too! Sarang was the first person whos name and face I could remember cause every time I saw her I saw Zhou Ye

this ended a week ago and I still got this drama fully on my mind, I keep listening to spring snow by 10cm (LR OST) too. the only downside to watching this drama is that it's raised my expectations for every show I watch from now forward
