aigoo now i can read comments peacefully thank gwad they removed toxic comments...anyways how are y'all?? I'm…
I sincerely believe that the joint work of many users to make this situation stop has worked perfectly.

But you know, even if everything is peaceful, people still come to generate hatred.

Although they are few, I think this is because they know that they can no longer publish these things, even if they publish it 50 times. They know it won't work.

Honestly, I returned to the page just to review this drama, I have seen others but I have not wanted to review them because sometimes I tend to be quite lazy, although I like to review.

But since it's been days and days of reporting the comments section, it's gotten tiring for me. I honestly want to take a break, at least a month. But I'm also worried that the situation will get worse again. So right now, I find myself at a crossroads.

why the mods are removing political comments when it is literally part of the drama ? as long as it’s not offensive…
You have clearly violated some kind of terms otherwise they would not have deleted your comment.

Comments are not deleted by bots, but by moderators. Talking about religious ideologies is not allowed here, since the moderators themselves know that this can incite hatred.

Drama is not political, it is fiction, it is not based on any real fact. And they have only focused on a short fragment to send hatred to both users and actors. Just because of a Netflix error.

There are people who have directly sent external links on this matter, which is prohibited. Have you seen that there are people who don't know the reason why the drama has lowered the score and don't know why and people have explained it to them as if it were a spoiler? Well, users do this to avoid problems and delete their comments.

That's why I say that you have violated some rule. And you have to take responsibility for what you publish. The terms are clear, if you do not want your comments to be deleted, I recommend that you read the terms carefully. There you will realize why other people's comments have been deleted, including yours.

You are absolutely right, you see that the drama is lowering the rating but you are still here. I don't understand…
But I feel like with this drama they are putting too much effort into leaving negative reviews anywhere. It's strange how people's brains work from anonymity and the internet.

If I get a little philosophical, the internet has two sides, the good one, where you have more accessibility to knowledge that you didn't have before, and then you have the darkest side of the internet, people will say and do atrocities on the internet because no one knows them, So it is easy and comforting for them to step on others.

Let's face it, we all know that the reviews are not being objective, but rather controversy. Everything was fine…
It's also okay if you won't like it, it's your tastes and no one can tell you anything about it.

Thanks for the recommendation πŸ«‚πŸ’– I was looking for something to watch because I have nothing to watch and the new dramas that have come out have not caught me. So I'll run to see it, since I'm on vacation and I want to take the opportunity to watch dramas, and as soon as you mentioned the drama I went to read the synopsis and it looks interesting, plus Zhao Jinmai works!! She is one of my favorite actresses 😭

The ratings this, The ratings that what is wrong with some of you here, even with the low ratings some of you…
You are absolutely right, you see that the drama is lowering the rating but you are still here.

I don't understand that, it's the first time I've seen this happen with a drama here. Generally and normally, when you don't like drama, you don't even pay attention to it anymore, you move on and see something you really like. I don't understand why people are still so determined to continue commenting and generating more hate

hey, I like Rambo hahaha it's just a joke. Okay, that's your opinion and it's totally respectable but we all know here that if you read the negative reviews they're not pointing to that point like you are, but to controversy.
On When the Phone Rings Jan 8, 2025
I came to check if the comments, mainly from two users, had been deleted because they repeated the same things every 5 minutes like crazy.

Fortunately they were eliminated, but I wonder how long this will last. Surely tomorrow they will return and we will have to do the work again. I do not recommend that they block because if not, we will not see the comments and we will not be able to report it.

It also seems that they have gone to other places to lower the score. It's like, how much free time do you have to do those things? It's like they are living their own kdrama, us against the world hahahaha

I know perfectly well that negative reviews are not directed at what the drama presents to us but at the controversy.

It's not something that worries me either because the drama has topped the time slot and they have received awards. So I don't care much that the rating is going down.

Regarding the drama, I particularly loved it. I didn't really feel heavy the last few chapters because I was really very interested in the story of Baek's family and how his relatives would pay for what they had done. Although I do recognize that there were flaws in the last two chapters. For example, the trip does happen in the novel although he leaves for other reasons. The drama had changed a lot of things, which people who had read the novel were really angry about these changes. Although I understood it because they made the drama for a general audience and this change didn't bother me at all.

I don't know if taking the part where he leaves would have been a good idea, since before becoming a politician, he dedicated his entire life to being a soldier and it was what he really liked. Maybe if I had located the location in a fictitious area, although I also don't know if that would have caused problems. I don't have a clear answer about that in particular.

What was wrong was not having explained clearly why he went there, since in the novel they explain very well why he was there and it wasn't because of the sunset, although I think they put that in to make the scene more romantic. But after all, those who did not read the novel felt confused and I understand it perfectly because there was a mistake there.

Regarding her fall off the cliff, which should have broken several bones, it is true, I broke my toes in the most stupid way and it is because I got out of bed badly and fell hahahaha but no matter how stupid and ridiculous it seemed, I let it go because I watch police dramas where the protagonist fights with 100 men alone then they break bottles on his head or stab them and the next day they get up as if nothing had happened and they are perfectly fine. That's why I let it go.

Still if I looked at the drama as a whole and didn't just look at the ending, my rating never changes. It happened to me with the judge of hell, I felt like the drama was losing steam when she fell in love and the ending was a little confusing, but since I enjoyed it I didn't really give it a low rating.

I'm not saying that everyone has to think like me or that they use the same criteria as me, everyone has their own tastes and is totally respectable. Since for color tastes, there are very famous dramas that I didn't like at all and that's fine, because I consider that it wasn't for me and that's it.

What I don't do is comment and send hatred to people who didn't like the drama. If I don't like drama I prefer not to comment on anything and do a review, and sometimes I don't even do it and I don't comment on anything either because I'm lazy.

What happened hahaha. Can somebody delete the repeated comments hahahaha.
Of course there was a user who kept spamming as if her life was coming to an end. And all her comments were the same, that is, spam.

Also this review bombing also robbed us from ACTUAL show rating 😬😬😬I mean there would have been no assumptions…
Let's face it, we all know that the reviews are not being objective, but rather controversy.

Everything was fine until what happened happened. I've heard people say that more chapters were needed to better develop things and people say that chapter 12 was totally unnecessary but since they enjoyed the drama, it's okay. I'm talking about people who aren't on this page and don't even know about this, and I'm not commenting on it either.

Probably here in particular, it is a drama that will be marked for the worse by this controversy. But most people I've talked to and heard aren't a drama that they think is overrated. The rating they have given it is 8.9 as it was here in the beginning.

But I really don't sincerely care about the rating here. The drama has been the most watched drama in Korea and has won awards. So I don't really care if the rating here has dropped too low, because I know they're not really judging the drama for what it is, but for the controversy.

Thank you for addressing that user. I tried politely explaining to stop her from involving Islam in this, but…
Thank you very much, you are also a great and kind person.

Yesterday I spent my time reporting people, not because I was being a dictatorial person, it was because things had gotten out of control and many users were attacking others.

It has been tedious because they have wanted to get me into political issues that I was not willing to discuss.

I was obviously insulted, but I was just reporting and blocking. Even in threads the same thing happened, people don't know how to control themselves.

Even so, things have calmed down a lot compared to yesterday, which was a disaster. I'm glad many were willing to clean up the comment room and create a safer space for all users.

You are very kind, I will send you a friend request if you don't mind.

why do you get to be the arbiter of what we can discuss? and why can't we? who are you? you can report people…
Before you speak, read the comments, and see how many comments have been deleted, why do you think they have been deleted? Because many people have gone to the point of creating threads to harass people, that no one has insulted anyone, are you serious? It's clearly a lie.

I am not going by my feelings, I am an empathetic person who sees how people suffer from being violated so harshly when they have said nothing wrong that is why I brought this up, so that this will stop and no more users will be attacked. Before talking and telling lies, take a good look at the comments and then comment.

See if my proposal would be political, I would be proposing something political.

Read the comments and you will realize why I proposed this. You can do what you want, as you said I am nobody but the administrators have realized that the situation has gotten out of control and with the complaints they have deleted and banned accounts.

Talking about this directly or indirectly has brought consequences to other users who have suffered from anxiety attacks. This should not be a war zone where everyone attacks other users in such an atrocious way, I'm sorry but I'm not sorry.

Omg are you going to screenshot & report it to police or something?
Don't pay attention to it honey, just report it and block it. What she has told you is more than enough that he is a person who only came to look for a fight, to insult violently. With her first comment we already knew that she was upset because she will not be able to hold her political debates that no one cares about.

Funniest thing i've read today. No way you’re threating people here using "I'm gonna Report you"... πŸ’€
Ready, reported and locked. I knew your intentions weren't good, so I responded that way.
Replying to cNed Jan 7, 2025
Omg are you going to screenshot & report it to police or something?
No, not at all. I don't know he's trying to go to the police or something.

I think you're kidding me, but for now I'll leave you in doubt. The approach is easy, you have three points next to each comment and you can report it and that's it so that that comment is deleted and that's it.

Political debates never come to fruition, and unnecessary fights are created. Mydramalist is a page to review or comment on whether you liked the drama or not, it is not a page for political debates. It's that simple, I don't understand why it was so difficult for you to understand my point.

If you are not going to comment on the drama itself, you will be reported, no one wants to get involved in political debates that we cannot comment on in depth and we cannot do so because everything leads to irrational hatred.

Think carefully about what you are going to answer me because if you are trying to provoke me in some way, I will report you and block you and that's it.

I don't want to deal with people like that, you understand? Several people have been emotionally affected precisely by these political debates so someone must put an end to it.

That's what I propose. People have the right to comment freely without being violently harassed or insulted. This environment has to be healthy, not war.

I think you're kidding me because I saw that you abandoned the drama, assuming your strange question, I suppose it's because of a political issue. So think carefully before answering me, I am not going to put up with insults, humiliation and getting into political debates that do not belong to me.
On When the Phone Rings Jan 7, 2025
I propose something and I hope no one is offended, but if you are not going to talk about the drama itself, I am going to take the trouble to constantly monitor the comments and at the first insult towards another user or political debates, because we are not in a history class, we are watching a fictional drama and it doesn't matter if you say you didn't like the drama because the story was fast, confusing, or it just didn't catch you, it's okay because for color tastes, you will be reported.

If you want to talk about a political topic, I will have my own thread and do it, don't do it in the comments section or involve and insult the actors. This must stop once and for all.

So refrain from insulting another user or creating unnecessary political debates because you will be reported.

That's why I've spent all day reporting comments, because I know what it feels like to be harassed like that by someone, even though it's happened to me in real life, and you feel scared, you don't know what to do, you get caught anxiety crisis and you feel sad because you don't know how to deal with the situation.

And it's completely normal because these things shouldn't happen. Emotions cannot be controlled, especially if you are being unfairly attacked.

Don't thank me, rather if the same thing ever happens to you, which I really wish not to, send me a message and we can solve it together.

Don't worry, you're not alone in this.

A nice points have been made πŸ‘
Yes, there is exactly a limit to blocking other users, which makes the situation worse. But I have seen that a girl who was defamed everywhere and had to delete her comments, acted quickly and the user was deleted. I think that since this problem has increased more than it should, the moderators had to take other measures to stop this kind of situation.

It actually saddens me a lot that you had to delete your comments, it shows that you are a calm person.

But from experience, I tell you not to try to talk to people like that, because they only hurt you more and it is impossible to talk to a person like that, especially if they are more extremist.

Although I'm glad that the defamation I was unjustifiably doing to you has been removed.
Replying to TimiZero Jan 7, 2025
That person is crazy. She/he has personal issue with Islam (you can look at other drama too) and trying to provoke…
I agree, but users are becoming more and more aggressive and pushing the limits.

It is sad to read that there are users who have had to delete all their comments even though they were not saying anything bad.

Obviously you can block and report and forget about the problem. But it's even scary to comment on anything, people are refraining a lot from not committing, even if it's the most innocent thing in the world because they know they will insult even your own mother.

I think the page should be safer, in some way of saying it, because we all want to comment on the drama and even if we don't think the same, we can approach our points of view in a healthier way, without incurring extreme violence.

I thought things would calm down at least a little but I see that the situation has escalated and I am sincerely concerned.
