This is the absolute best documentary on China's artists and artisans. Short of visiting China, there is nothing better. However, casting Zhang Nan and Sun Yihan in it, is probably the only reason most people are watching it all and I don't think they say more than 50 words to each other in the entire series. I cannot think of any series or movie that has shown a bigger waste of talent.

Transit Girls is the best love story you will come across in such a short format. Possibly in any format. Everyone in the story is a fully formed 3-dimensional character. It does not rely on stereotypes of any kind or typical LGBT story lines. They will make you laugh and cry and they will warm your heart in places you didn't know existed. Many LGBT stories attempt to teach a lesson of some sort, this story shows you what can happen if you have already learned those lessons. Its a true joy from beginning to end.
