I know this drama doesn't fully follow the original novel but can anyone spoil me what kind of misunderstanding…
In the novel, Ayin does not tell Guyin that he received the 6 punishments from Huashu. [when the emperor of heaven, Peacock's fiancé, dies, huashu takes advantage of that situation to hurt ayin with the excuse that she helped free her fox friend and "killed the emperor"] and guyin wants to protect ayin by saying that only He and Daze Mountain could punish her since she was raised there, but with just 1 thunder from Guyin's sword she hurt more than necessary. She dies, but Guyin is left with a lot of guilt and burden and hatred for Huashu for having punished her with 6 thunders without her consent or the heaven realm.

She receives 6 lightning bolts (punishments) from Huashu and then the last punishment from Gu Yin. In the novel, there are 9 punishments from guyin, but she receives only 1 because she previously received 6 from huashu.
