I want to make a quick comment regarding the writing of the character HJP. So we already know that he's been used thus far as an emotional, mental, and soon to be, physical punching bag, but does anyone else feel like he's being greatly favored in the story (not on screen time but rather character wise)? And, on purpose, and not due to bad writing. So far we've seen most of the main characters f up in some major way, and most people have had a lot of negative things to say about that. HJP had the whole "causing someone to take their life" and being "rude and condescending" as the main negative aspects to his character, but he already feels guilty for that (or the story is making it seem like he is not actually at fault) and the story is showing some sign of character development for him. But this goes only for him, when it should be the case for all the characters. They should all be getting better in some way but we don't see that happening yet. I guess things can drastically change in the upcoming episodes but I can't believe that the writer did all of this and not expect people to greatly favor HJP (as the writing does too). Hope this made sense, I kinda rambled.

With Kim Eun Sook's recent failure with The King Eternal and Park Hye Run's recent failure with Start Up.I think…
I think it could be a mix of both, I haven't seen The King Eternal Monarch, but I'd assume that both screenwriters were trying to do something new and innovative with their stories, but resolved to outdated tropes to do so. The standard for a good k-drama has also increased so much over the years, so even if they could get away with a mediocre script some few years ago, that's definitely not the case anymore. If they want to keep up their success as screenwriters, they need to have a better understanding as to how most people view certain societal themes, and properly assimilate them into their future work. Hopefully this is a wake up call to screenwriters that have been around for a while.

I honestly have never watched a show before that made me dislike majority of the main characters (aside from HJP and WIJ)...at least not until now. But what makes me more upset is the wasted potential. This could've been one of the best K-dramas out there (a great business plot, slight romance with a childhood friend, great character development, etc.), but instead we got this mess instead. I've been a fan of the screenwriters previous work so as to why this is just a huge mess, i'll have absolutely no idea. And at this point, the show's literally force feeding us the DalDo romance, as if that's gonna undo people's opinions of them as individual characters.

@ponnu I swear after all this, if they somehow twist the narrative and blame HJP for what's happened to them in the next episode, I'm going to lose the last bit of self-composure left inside me.

I would like to give a little analogy on the Sandbox in respect to how HJP and NDS treats SDM. When a child goes…
How do you even come up with these analogies? Freakin amazing, and I love all your posts btw!

He did deceive them in a way but I wouldn't want to call him the villain. At the end of the day, it's business. If SamSan tech had been smarter, they could've easily gotten out of the situation they are in now. I'm not sure if Alex is the kid NDS gave his medal to, but that'd be an interesting twist if it was.

I have to physically restrain myself in order to not skip over all the SDM and NDS scenes. I don't necessarily have an issue with them ending up together (I've nearly given up hope that it's gonna be a MIJI ending) but it just pisses me off. She literally forgave him in like a day and apparently wants to figure out who it is that she has feelings for ( "old" NDS/HJP or the current NDS), but how exactly is she gonna do that when she spends the majority of time with one over the other.

how stupid can you be to not even ask your professional mentor for advice...sure don't consider taking it but…
One of the things i dislike about this drama so far is how inconsistent certain characters are. Sure, I assumed the three sans wouldn't want to really ask HJP for his advice regarding the deal but I honestly thought SDM and/or Sa-ha would've mentioned going to him for help. It's so frustrating!

Funny how JP advised them before that the CEO (Dalmi) should have full reigns on decision making (about 90% of…
And literally most of the members thought HJP was just being an a***ole about it when literally everything he's advised (however brash it might have sounded) was for the good of the company. But they ended up trusting Alex more, and now look what happened. I honestly wouldn't even be upset or surprised if SamSan tech ends up being a failure.

This is the first time I'm making a comment on here, and I'm only doing so because no show has riled me up the way this one has. Starting off with the behavior of the Samsan tech members (especially the three sans): I initially thought they were quite cute and loved the friendship between them but at this point, I find myself rolling my eyes at everything they do. Not only are they extremely immature and lack any sort of common sense regarding the business world, but even their behavior after winning demo day and sitting down to discuss the contract with Alex…like I get it’s a Kdrama but who acts like that?!! And I actually thought for a second when Dalmi hesitated to sign the contract right away, that she may go to HJP and ask him for advice (because I think it’s been a general consensus that, that would have been the ideal thing to do)…BUT NOPE! They ended up high fiving each other on a job well done while now, all the hard work they put into it, might amount to nothing. I swear HJP and WIJ are the only ones with a couple of braincells in this show.

Well that was depressing AF!! Couldn’t stop crying, especially during the last two episodes. Amazing drama, and for those wondering if it’s a happy ending....it’s quite tragic tbh but a little hopeful for the future.
