Firstly, Eui Woo is not his friend. If his friends say things that are apparently homophobic, why must he be to blame?
Secondly, I don't understand the second part of your reply. why are you bringing up things that I've already said don't matter and are completely fine to say. What is wrong with an actor changing up and going to play in different genres? Do you's expect him to stay in the same type of dramas for the entirety of his career? I hope not, let people move on and do new things.
For the people who are saying Eui Woo used BL for fame and money. Yeah, duh, he's an actor why else would he act. It's his job so of course he's gonna paid for it and if he gets recognition for his work through BL then we should be happy for him. He's a good actor and shouldn't feel like if he decides to play a role in a different drama that isn't a BL then everyone will stop supporting him.
Everyone that's mad about the chance of him leaving the BL industry is just sad they have one less person to fetishize.
Ok, I've gone through all these comments and I think people need to realize that actors don't owe us anything. They don't owe us a show, a role, or a genre. That is entirely THEIR CHOICE to make, we can only support them in their journey with their careers. A lot of comments have been made about a quote that isn't that deep, and a friend that Eui Woo has no responsibility for.
