I found myself watching this unfold like it's thriller. Wan surrounded by sharks unaware of the danger while Third watches anxiously butting in because he can't stand to see him fail and subtly falling for the adorable fool. Nine is an excellent antagonist and I hope they won't pull a U-turn making all of them friends in the end. Let characters just be bad people who learn their lesson and move on to be better to someone else. So much treats in 3. episode. Third's dancing, their stare offs, the pool scene. when they started playing, I thought: not right in front of Nine's salad. Of course, he had to intervene and punish. Third's acting is superb. The dinner, the contrast in his mood in that room, how he felt like imprisoned in plain sight. The way Wan lights Third up from inside. It's like Wan is the only entertainment he had in a long time. He can't help himself but stare. The subtle ways he helps Wan without anyone noticing. The raging jealousy in the photo shoot. The list goes on and on. I pray it will stay this tightly paced and good. The tension between them can be cut with a knife. Chef's kiss.
Finally finished it and I'm happy I did. Revolutionary plot lost my attention but stayed for Chet and Jade. Their friendship was precious. All in all, a fun journey and Nut was perfect :)
Wait, so does this have a trans lead? All the summary info uses she/her for the protag?
it has a trans lead. she is identifying as a woman and that is the point of the time travel, in present time she was facing discrimination for defying her gender role and using wrong pronouns. She constantly feminine presents and her drag at the end is perfect. I must say Nut portrayed her beautifully, when he plays the man (past Worraday) it's easy to see the difference instantly
beautiful, simply beautiful. I love these characters. Sometimes all we need is to see people heal and love each other. The way Dawei lit up from inside in the end was endearing to watch. And their small grandmother was adorable.
off to a great start. I like the tension, the stakes feel real and atmosphere is suffocating. ML is as always steady and excellent in restraint. Can't wait to see where this goes. For a change, I can't predict what comes next
Omg thank you, finally someone says it😭😭. Thats the whole point of them, like having a main villain in a…
Yes, I like it now that they went that route. Too often shows are afraid to make messy couples and it ends up like everyone is having the same type of a relationship. This is more balanced when we see how their choices constantly are at odds with each other and how it results in trust with our main couple and conflict with the second couple
Although I thought I won't like it at the start the series just keeps on growing on me. The characters are so great and caring that they won me over completely. For the second couple, I think it should be like that, they were made to make us uncomfortable. Not as a cute second pairing but as an opposite to the main couple to see how different choices lead to different outcomes. I'm glad they committed to the anxious tension the second couple has as of 7th episode. Let's see how it all goes down but for now I'm very happy with the series. A bit of stiffness can be ascribed to characters being young and anxious so all is well..
It was a satisfying watch. Even though there were choices I wouldn't have made, leads did sell their part. In the end, I did like DNX side story. A fun watch and good chemistry
Maybe that's the reason I prefer MDL, you get to see a lot of different points of view and get an impression what…
To each their own but I personally love to come to read comments after I watch dramas to find people complaining about the same things I had problems with. Good, or bad, dramas are an experience to argue with as much as enjoy in. It's not that I want to avoid bad dramas, it's easy to stop when it turns out it's not for me, but to find good dramas people complain about because they are invested enough to voice out their opinions
MDL retains its place as the drama site with the most negative comments! Not even surprised that this is the only…
Maybe that's the reason I prefer MDL, you get to see a lot of different points of view and get an impression what to expect and is it your cup of tea. Negative comments might be for the one delivering it but it can be a bonus point for me. Only saying good stuff doesn't really tell you anything but that you support the genre, actors, and creators in general. That's why we watch, because we support it, but we also give feedback. It's up to others to agree with us or disagree
thnx, your comment saved me a lot of time. The second couple had a decent story, with enough skipping ahead it…
I think this one is on the writers, they failed to see who the lead couple of the story was. Main leads are those who have the strongest story to tell, they had connection to all other plots and enough obstacles to fill up time without effort while main couple had to fill up minutes standing aside not truly interconnected with the plot
BP main couple had chemistry from the beginning, he fell for her at the first blind date. She took longer to tear…
I'm well aware, but it kills the joy for me a bit. Sometimes it's executed alright but most of the time it's just filling up last minutes with tension that isn't earned
this episode was a bait and switch. Preview promised us sweetness so we entered and endured the sorrow only to again dampen Ha-Gi's mood. She's a rookie, must she instantly be so good to have to go to Paris even before things settled? The journey was good but last episodes so often struggle to keep the plot and switch genres. Great, let's have great women on screen but can they sometimes just enjoy their romance for a bit before separation? Just glaze over misdeeds and skip to all being such great friends. It feels like the HAN Ceo actually won slipping in the last tempting offer and secretly sabotaging the relationship. We'll see how tomorrow's episode goes but for now it seems it'll fall into Business Proposal trap where great chemistry gets wasted when main leads priorities is everything but each other.
he gave me second hand embarrassment too. if I were one of the main crew, I would start contemplating on the spot…
I thought he was smiling so much and so awkwardly because his manager gave him direct instruction the day earlier that he must smile at all times when not in a private room and not appear sulky or in a bad mood
At this point, I can only conclude that I’m on a whole different level of gayness. I’m part of the very tiny…
thnx for the lenghty commentary :) I disliked them at the beginning of the series but they completely won me over with their communication and honesty. I think Rin is a great representation of an asexual navigating relationships. Looking forward to see how they develop this further
