To each their own but I personally love to come to read comments after I watch dramas to find people complaining about the same things I had problems with. Good, or bad, dramas are an experience to argue with as much as enjoy in. It's not that I want to avoid bad dramas, it's easy to stop when it turns out it's not for me, but to find good dramas people complain about because they are invested enough to voice out their opinions

Maybe that's the reason I prefer MDL, you get to see a lot of different points of view and get an impression what to expect and is it your cup of tea. Negative comments might be for the one delivering it but it can be a bonus point for me. Only saying good stuff doesn't really tell you anything but that you support the genre, actors, and creators in general. That's why we watch, because we support it, but we also give feedback. It's up to others to agree with us or disagree

I think this one is on the writers, they failed to see who the lead couple of the story was. Main leads are those who have the strongest story to tell, they had connection to all other plots and enough obstacles to fill up time without effort while main couple had to fill up minutes standing aside not truly interconnected with the plot

I'm well aware, but it kills the joy for me a bit. Sometimes it's executed alright but most of the time it's just filling up last minutes with tension that isn't earned

this episode was a bait and switch. Preview promised us sweetness so we entered and endured the sorrow only to again dampen Ha-Gi's mood. She's a rookie, must she instantly be so good to have to go to Paris even before things settled?
The journey was good but last episodes so often struggle to keep the plot and switch genres. Great, let's have great women on screen but can they sometimes just enjoy their romance for a bit before separation?
Just glaze over misdeeds and skip to all being such great friends. It feels like the HAN Ceo actually won slipping in the last tempting offer and secretly sabotaging the relationship.
We'll see how tomorrow's episode goes but for now it seems it'll fall into Business Proposal trap where great chemistry gets wasted when main leads priorities is everything but each other.

I think he lacks experience to discern that this was a private room but yes, the second hand embarrassment was strong :)

I thought he was smiling so much and so awkwardly because his manager gave him direct instruction the day earlier that he must smile at all times when not in a private room and not appear sulky or in a bad mood

I disliked them at the beginning of the series but they completely won me over with their communication and honesty. I think Rin is a great representation of an asexual navigating relationships.
Looking forward to see how they develop this further

Considering the preview for the next episode I would agree, a rage bait

but Roy bit was worth it, hopefully we'll get to see more of him

I think episode 10 is skipable drama, hopefully last two episodes will focus on resolving things

and I wonder how will Ha-gi come out of the closet about his superior cooking :)

I just pray now that they don't ruin it in the last three episodes. It happens too often

It's been a long time since a couple captured me so much. That is saying much since they gave us even a fake bl pairing. The two of them are really like two peas in the pod.

Such a good jbl. Up there with Cherry Magic and Oldfashioned Cupcake. Their chemistry is seamless. There doesn't even need to be so much interaction to make an impact

Considering bl discussion in the comments, if there were female and male lead cast in main roles, there would be no discussion to be had. Everyone would think of them as romantically involved as soon as they would grace the screen together. No kiss, or confession would be needed to think of them romantically involved.
For queer romance we have to fill out forms and look a tags to see are we allowed even to think of a possible romance. A room filled with candles, being locked alone in an empty school, escaping together, 'listen to my voice only', not to mention the nurse office, and the bold rescue, the antagonism, aren't enough to even think about possible romance because it taints the experience of a pure friendship, like romance would be less pure somehow.
Everyone has their own lane, queer romance is generally hidden anyway, especially in homophobic societies so the lack of a kiss, or a 'beard', doesn't disprove anything.
Anyhow. Sorry for the rant.
I've been around for years reading comments on MDL and never have made an account to join in on the discussion but this comment section made me make an account just to contribute.
There's nothing impure in thinking about this as a hidden BL gem (which is seems to be, our BL overlords should take notes because none of them would be this bold to give us so much sweetness so quickly) and nothing wrong either in enjoying the text that is written over it as it is taking in the straight romance as the only interpretation of the world.
In any case, these two episodes were strong and I loved every second of it regardless of whether their emotion are friendly, or romantic, it makes no real difference.
I just hope I'll keep on enjoying it and that no unnecessary drama will ruin the feel.
