Today’s episodes are really slow and didn’t move the plot much…a bit disappointing. I hope there’s enough time for the plot until the end 🥺

The latest ep was unexpectedly satisfying?! I loved how they talked honestly. Even though Changyu still seems uncertain, it is Xie Zheng’s turn to be more upfront with his feelings now that the charade is up. I’m just loving how their story is progressing right now, but also scared it can go downhill from here 😭

I can’t remember if she’s seen him fight apart from that time at the gate when he put on a mask, so it’s understandable she doesn’t know his abilities. She’s gotten used to fighting better than most men around her. So I can’t fault her for not thinking he is an excellent fighter.

She also seems to be driven by her recent experience in losing people in her hometown and losing Changning for a while. It looks like her fear in losing him is the main reason for the stupid decision to drug him 😅
